There is something in that.

I think everyone would have wanted the takeover business sorted sooner. Not least Dan Williams.

But it is best for all concerned for the deal to be right and not rushed.

Fortunately your club is in good nick and the 'distraction' has not been a problem.

The more I look at it the more I think a cash injection before January - from anyone - would make one hell of a difference.

This has happened this evening.
