waggy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Well if you are a rovers why are you still supporting this clown in charge. you call him a clown, the only clowns i saw on saturday were the one's on the pitch May I ask a question then waggy? Assuming that the bad results and performances continue, at what point do you withdraw your support of Mr Ince? Only when the board removes him or when he steps down? When is enough in your eyes? Just curious i give him a season, then is the time to judge, ince will never resign,he is made off sterner stuff than that

Atty Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 On what basis does he deserve this season in charge Burnleyfan? He must be a burnleyfan getting a kick off winding people up.
Mc Love Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 A season?? What have you been smoking waggy?
waggy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 On what basis does he deserve this season in charge Burnleyfan? so i'm a burnley fan, will be very pleased to meet you any place anywere and let you repeat that to my face
Jan Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 so i'm a burnley fan, will be very pleased to meet you any place anywere and let you repeat that to my face Don't tell me, you'll join in and throw punches at someone who is being beaten up in front of you. You are not a true Rovers supporter if you think Ince should stay
my_name_is_Earl Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 He must be a burnleyfan getting a kick off winding people up. Thats what i'm thinking because he's answering questions without any sound opinion, without backing up what he's saying. Another thing i've noticed is all the extra badges and smiles etc. which would suggest overdoing it in the situation. Finally, he fails to answer any reasonable questions without offering laughable opinions. If Waggy was a trueblue, then he would most certainly understand, as a rovers fan, that times are quite desperate at the moment and this is no time for joking.

dr_awol Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Its clear now ince has to go to save both him and the club, so any point lost now will be the fault of the board while ince is in charge. the only reason he could stay is if there is noone else around that can run a club like rovers.
Atty Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 you call him a clown, the only clowns i saw on saturday were the one's on the pitch i give him a season, then is the time to judge, ince will never resign,he is made off sterner stuff than that Of course its all the players fault nothing to do with Ince he a TACTICAL GENIUS.
Sysagent Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 LOL @ Waggy... You want the reason again for getting rid of Ince in a langauge you understand P21 W6 D4 L11 F27 A41 If that's not reason enough you Rishton'er now't is! ;-D
Jan Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 says the girl who supports celtic You missed the word "also" in that sentence. But I suppose it is quite a difficult word to spell.
my_name_is_Earl Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 so i'm a burnley fan, will be very pleased to meet you any place anywere and let you repeat that to my face Very tough. You sound like a decent bloke You're only after my body...
Backroom Tom Posted December 15, 2008 Backroom Posted December 15, 2008 As much as I want Ince out in Waggys defence it was certainly the minority of Rovers fans chanting for Ince out on saturday, the Wigan fans started You're getting sacked in the morning and some roovers fans (mainly in the top right) joined in. After it went 3-0 there was considerably more but still not more than a thousand or so. I also want to take the time now to say, Theno etc I was wrong you were right about Ince.
waggy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 You missed the word "also" in that sentence. But I suppose it is quite a difficult word to spell. there only a girl who can possibly think you can support two teams
AussieinUk Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 i give him a season, then is the time to judge, ince will never resign,he is made off sterner stuff than that Fair enough and thank you for the answer (and I respect your view), but to wait a full season is such a risk to take, especially for our club such as ours. It would take a mammoth effort (both financially and physically) to get back up, assuming of course that the worst may happen (demoted). Ince even admitted at the beginning of his reign with us, that ten games was a good yardstick to measure his tenure and to that he has failed us, by the performances on the pitch. Yes, maybe some of those failures can be placed on the players, injuries etc etc.. but the results are not going to change. Personally I think you may be right and Ince may be a successful manager at the top level, but in all honestly, I don think that time is now. IMV, He was promoted to early into the limelight that is the premier league. I really don't think he is ready and one can look at his lack of coaching badges, backroom staff and his scouting network. EDITED - bad spelling and sentence structure.. oops
BRFCBOY Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 there only a girl who can possibly think you can support two teams agreed
Hughesy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 wonder if the board are waiting/contemplating if hughesy gets the bullet at city? Doubt it mate - there is no way back for him.

RibbleValleyRover Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Waggy is entitled to his views as is every other fan. You have to give him some respect for sticking to his guns and still keeping the same viewpoint even if its in the clear minority. I find it surprising and hard to see why anyone can back Ince now, but there you go.
ace Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 you call him a clown, the only clowns i saw on saturday were the one's on the pitch i give him a season, then is the time to judge, ince will never resign,he is made off sterner stuff than that Much as I admire your loyalty Waggy I can only conclude that your wish to leave things for another 5 months would not only place us alongside Peterborough and Milton Keynes next season, but for many many many seasons to come. ( Forest, Leicester etc) If you are happy with that fine..stay in your deluded cocoon ..along with "the guv'nor" But please don't confuse blind loyalty with support for the club.
nicko Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I hear there is a meeting going on just now in an odd venue...a Manchester hotel. There could be some news later. Sadly I am off the radar for three days... I wish you well.

What can he change even just to make the team perform? It's all well and good that he has potential but can he use that now? Is he the right man for Rovers at this time?
