Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 It was a rhetorical question. I meant to say the player I am talking about is still involved in the WC as of this second.
LeChuck Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I did mention once the player's WC campaign ends. Arent Serbia already out? That pretty much means it is an English player then I guess? Outside bets...Van Persie, Tevez or Torres. I think Fabregas is too obvious for the secrecy. Bobby, has your source given you stories before they have broken in the past?
Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 You could say that LeChuck. He is not as much a "source" as much as an "active" player in the game.
Amo Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Mourinho wouldn't lose his senses and sign Gerrard or Lampard. There's a perfectly good reason why English 'stars' rarely move to the continent.
Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Tim Sherwood on Al Jazeera Sports just now confirmed Spurs made an enquiry for Suarez recently and were quoted 40 million Euros and that's out of their reach.
Exiled_Rover Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Mourinho wouldn't lose his senses and sign Gerrard or Lampard. There's a perfectly good reason why English 'stars' rarely move to the continent. When do you emigrate as you clearly hate this country.
ffan Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 My guess is steve gerardo, thats what a fella on a fulham board is claiming anyway.
Roberto Policano Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Manchester United thinking about bidding for Luis Fabiano.
alexanders Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Tim Sherwood on Al Jazeera Sports just now confirmed Spurs made an enquiry for Suarez recently and were quoted 40 million Euros and that's out of their reach. And he just doubled it with a beauty.
budha Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 And he just doubled it with a beauty. Doubled it? To 80M Euro? Perhaps not. Edit: as soon as Suarez tells Ajax he wants to leave, they're lucky to get 30M Euro wether he makes 2, 3, 4 or 5 goals in WC.
Roberto Policano Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Inter do want Mascherano. The stories about him costing too much are total rubbish.
roversam Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Roberto have you heard anything about sniejder to Utd. Was told that the deal is almost done.
Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I think Spurs are clearly interested in Suarez. Sherwood pretty much said it. However, with these goals, he has really got his price to as close to 30m Euros as possible. Before this WC, I think 20m Euros would have possibly tempted Ajax to sell. I am still not convinced by him at that price. His first touch and pace have a lot to be desired for. He does take a few shots too. So goals to shot ratio may not be up there with the most clinical finishers. One clue which I will give on the other player leaving for Real is that the player is not Gerrard or Lampard. Although that is not to say that neither of those two dont interest Real!
Roberto Policano Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Roberto have you heard anything about sniejder to Utd. Was told that the deal is almost done. Haven't heard that.Where would United get the money?.
ffan Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Haven't heard that.Where would United get the money?. The money they would use to bid for Fabiano? Any news on Dzeko mate?
Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Inter wont sell Sneijder after letting go of both Mourinho and soon to be Maicon.
Roberto Policano Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Any news on Dzeko mate? For me still go's to Manchester City for somewhere in the region of £30 million. He might be a Milan fan but he ain't going there,Juventus aren't a real threat,Inter don't need a striker.
roversam Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 a utd player told me about sneijder. According to him they have money to spend this summer and will buy 2 or 3 big players. Ashley Cole Bobby? what i have heard anyway with Carvalleho a possibility
Roberto Policano Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 a utd player told me about sneijder. According to him they have money to spend this summer and will buy 2 or 3 big players. Think he's pulling your leg mate.
roversam Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 was deadly serious says the players are buzzing at the news
Bobby G Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 With all the players currently all over the world, I doubt there would be much buzz going on especially before pre-season! One last clue, the player is NOT English.
