Last season it was my closest ground, but after the shambles at Arsenal, it wasn't worth the high price. Same thing this season, if I wasn't going on holiday anyhow.

Unless Rovers are ever needing a point to win the league OR it is a neutral venue for a cup semi final, I wouldnt set foot in this hovel ever again, its far too expensive, the beer is crap and the clientel around the area are way too far up their own ar$es.

First ever premier league fixture I attended was Chelsea v Rovers, but it won't be a trip I'll be making again anytime soon. I don't agree with the pricing and refuse to pay that much for a league game, certainly when the money isn't going to my club.

I used to go chelsea up until about 2005 then it got too expensive, never will go again unless they drop the prices.

Rip off, terrible facilities and a nightmare to get to. I used to enjoy going there, especially in the late 80's. I managed to get a ticket to the game when no away fans were allowed (1988 i think) and Howard Gayle scored a brace and ran up to the empty away end to celebrate. There were only 8,000 on that day. Big club my ****!

I didn’t want to start a new thread for this – so thought I’d put it here. I’ve not been to an away game for a few years, but hoping to get tickets for Old Trafford on the 31st. It says on the official site that details will be released 3 weeks before the game, but there isn’t any info on there as of yet. Do they usually go on sale on the Monday or later in the week? Is it worth going on the official coach or is there somewhere to park reasonably near by?

When I used to drive to england games, I used to park on the side of the lowry centre, however that carpark is now gone due to media city. But the Lowry Shopping Mall has a large car park, and relatively hassle free to escape from..

They went on sale yesterday, £42.

I've seen them this morning at £42. When I rang the ticket office yesterday - the United game wasn't one of the options on the away information (admittedly I didn't actually speak to anyone).
