So there ends another game, this time Rovers throwing away 2 late goals - 1 via a big deflection and one from a dodgy penalty.

So who was your Man of the Match?

One of the 3 goalscorers, Yakubu, Hoilett or Samba? Or someone else?

Givet, Samba, Rochina, Nzonzi. Difficult to choose between them, but we have a lot of good players, and we could easily be top 10 with our squad. If only we had a real manager....its so sad really!

Nzonzi was awesome, surely the rise in his game somewhat down to Pederson playing just that bit deeper than him and giving him a bit more confidence on the ball.

voted Nzonzi, not so much his tackling and defensive side but on the ball looked so composed....but as already said Givet was excellent, so much better at CB

Very impressed with Givet the last two matches. The best I have seen him play for many a long while.

Givet & NZonzi seem to have really stepped it up in last few games.

Givet at centre back with Olsson at left back works so much better. Nelsen is surely going to struggle to ever get back in our central defence now.

More to the point, so is Scott Dann.

Givet and Samba have shown that central defence was not a position we should have been spending £7.7 million on. We only needed cover at the back, we should have spent the money to fill holes elsewhere - notably replacing Jermaine Jones.

Scott Dann maybe, but my point is more about Nelsen. He is probably 4th choice central defender now with Hanley next in line.

Hope/ pray we can re-sign JJ in the January window

For me a fully fit Nelsen would be way ahead of Dann, who I believe we paid way over the top for a run of the mill centre-half, and Hanley who is still very raw and prone to some horrendous errors. If Givet is moved to left-back to allow Olsson to move forward I would much perfer to see Nelsen partnering Samba.

Let's hope that doesn't happen any time soon. We look a far more cohesive and balanced unit with the current set-up.

yeah who said Dann was worth £14 million after being relegated, come on you know who you are don't be shy.

He has a long way to go before he gets to that level.

Givet has (against all odds) shown in his last few appearances, that he is one of our first choice CH's. Dann needs time to recapture previous form due to his long time out. The back 4 is the best it has been all season (IMO). We must now work on the gaps that seem to develop between midfield and the back four, that opposition teams seem to capitalise on. We look so much more dangerous with Rochina, Hoillet, Formica, Pedersen and Nzonzi in midfield. Up front, Yak seems to be overweight, saying that, his awareness and clean strike for his goal shows that he is more of a natural goalscorer than our other forwards.

He should try Scott Dann out at RB.

He should when hes fit. He's played right back before and that would allow Lowe to play in his natural position for us.

Interested to know what qualities some people think that Dann has that would make him a good full back...

Good in the air, decent pace and defensive minded rather than the full backs who always bomb forward
