Last time I went we won 2-0 in the cup on what seemed like the coldest night I've ever spent in a football stadium! League Cup quarter final IIRC just before Christmas. Wigan 0-2 Rovers

tomphil Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 hi lads, I go over few games every year (im Irish) have been over for Spurs at home this season but im just after booking this game. 1st time in Wigan, I think I will be staying in Manchester/Liverpool, whats best time to head to Wigan Sat when Rovers will arrive and what pubs will be the spots for a few pints beforehand. There is a big bar/lounge under the away stand at wigan. Just get there early to get in, its good in there. The team will arrive about 1.30 ish i would think.
