Rover_Shaun
"Now, of course, Blackburn occupy the unenviable billing as one of the most ridiculed, with Indian owners Venky’s unpicking every strand of Walker’s legacy to leave the club on the brink of the oblivion of relegation to the third tier." The bit about unpicking every strand of Walkers legacy stands right out ! On purpose some might say, breaking the club down to rebuild it in your own image or model ? That doesn't bare thinking about.
Steve Kean's Hypnotoad
Great days. Usual rubbish in the comment section. Think we'd have to get it written in giant letters on the moon that ManUre spent as much as if not more money than us, and that Cole cost almost as much as the SAS combined, to get it through peoples' heads. Stuart
There is no such thing as buying the league. Jack gifted his home town an opportunity to compete with the big boys, that is all. After that we won it on merit through all of the things that come from having a plan and everyone believing in it and pulling together to achieve it. Right now, there is no plan, no direction, just a rudderless boat with storm-damaged blue and white sails. Every oar pulling in different directions. No talisman, no credibility, just a fading legacy that a bunch of classless, clueless, rich children have wiped their feet on. Every anniversary like this just makes me a little more angry, a little more sad, and a little more numb towards the current situation.

McClarky
My 1 and only time in the hospitality at Ewood that first game against Grimsby (Was it Grimsby). Won 5-2 I think with Garner scoring a cracker from the edge of the box. Real sense of excitement and great pies of course.
