To be fair, Raya used to get pelters on here as well

Given our track record on rejecting keepers I am fully expecting Pears to surprise us all and get premier league games like Steele, Walton, Raya.

Let’s hope there is some real traction here, with these calls and the boycott.

They are still on Twitter at the minute, so as yet, perhaps no legal threats for them to be removed.

Hope the press are on to this, as well as the ban.

On another note, I did hear from someone who I know personally and who posts on here and is close to the Wharton family, that Crystal Palace described their dealings with the club on Adam’s sale as being amateur.

How can you be threatened legally for posting a telephone conversation? Was the conversation under an NDA? Was there a clause issued prior to the call that it was not to be recorded?

I think its more the case that you need to pay for representation for whatever trumped up case they try to bring against you, and Rudy/Pasha/Venkys have more money than you do, so if you get tied up in court, you will run dry before they do

Having heard the full calls, and there are many, to both Suhail and Rudy.

The caller clearly states who he is and which clubs he's from etc.

The X poster, i'm not sure who it is, but this story emerging has been mentioned on BRFCS before, I guess timing, rainy day, top pocket for better words, is critical given the clubs current state of affairs.

Many people are peed off at Rovers, and needle in a haystack springs to mind now, in terms of where the bombs originate from.

I suspect given various conversations ive had in the last 12 months, others would have had similar or different ones where more skeletons emerge.

To underestimate the true reach of supporters or indeed their intelect has been a trait forever associated with Rovers.

Its full hands to the pumps on Boycott saturday, some articles in national press due out Friday/saturday.

All we can all do who support this action is keep spreading the word

Not having a go Glen but, if you have heard all the calls in full then why can’t they be released so that the wider Blackburn Rovers fan base can listen ?

And then negotiations would have been led by Swag and Broughton and so if we were bad then, just imagine what we will be like now ! Unfortunately, they still managed to get that one across the line, depriving us of seeing a generational talent in his beloved blue and white for a while longer.

Because it is against the law to share a phonecall publicly without consent. You could argue it's in the public interest I suppose but you'd probably lose.

If the person recording is acting on behalf of a business, they have to tell the other side they're recording and if they're acting as an individual they can record, but they can't share it publicly because the GDPR then applies as it's no longer "personal" use.

As is my understanding anyway. Not legal advice etc etc

Unpopular opinion but Pears is probably the best or amongst the best 2nd Keepers in this league.

And nobody is keeping many clean sheets in this present and recent Ismael team.

500k is a farce for him at this stage unless there are achievable add on's although maybe they are trying to be fair and get him fixed up but much more likely they are desperate to get that wage off the books.

They won't want to pay a reserve keeper a first team wage and also that clown comes across as commission hungry to wheel and deal.

Yeah, Im very uneasy about these alleged phone calls.

I've only heard an extract from one of them on here which sounded like a prank call trying to make Suhail sound stupid.

Are they prank calls or are they recordings of genuine business transactions? If the latter, why  would they be recorded in the first place, who recorded them and and did both parties know they were being recorded and agree to it?

Either way the Coalition has put in a lot of hard work (seemingly at their own expense) and at the moment the way results have fallen we have them on the ropes.

Imo care has to be taken not to undermine that by doing anything that allows the Club to take the moral high ground.
