Not in the matchday squad but in a friendly tells me he isn't injured, unless he has only just come back from one and they're easing him to fitness. Otherwise he has played a whole 2 games for them and then become surplus to requirements. Great for his development. If O'Riordan isn't ready to handle Paul Mullin then I'd suggest he isn't ready for the Championship yet. It could be a good learning experience for him though, but I don't know if I'd be in a hurry to recall him in Jan unless he progresses more by then. The friendly is on Wednesday later this week, he wasn't in the squad for a league game at the weekend. Not sure yet why he wasn't involved, but seeing as it is a loan with a view to permanent, I won't personally prefer it if his loan wasn't great and he ended up back here Players improve by playing, and learning from mistakes, O'Riordan should be left in league one for the full season (barring us having a injury crisis), and brought back next season. He is young with plenty of time on his side to get to the required standard before we need to rely on him Edit - Duru not mentioned as injured Edited Monday at 14:51 by KentExile Quote
