I'm past the abbey stage. Well past that. I'm in the resignation stage (= confirmed despair). I'm starting to see the benefit in getting relegated in that we won't get gubbed by Burnley next year. I've long done given up any aspirations the club, other than the forgotten hope that that fat bastard and his shit eating brethren will have a TIA one morning and decide to sell the club. If you want hope---look to Bury. Seemed dead and buried, now fan-owned and with an elected Board.

Record crowds (I know!) and hundreds of volunteers giving their time for free. The community behind them.

We may have years of misery to suffer yet but we will emerge one day from the pit these scammers have dug for us.

It may not happen in time for me but it will happen.
