Considering our home form this season it seems a stretch to suggest the away team requires an additional advantage to take points from Ewood Park. Our manager and team are usually enough of an advantage for the away team.

Like I've said in the past. The local community needs the money - stay away from the game, go to the cafe's the local park the butty shops etc. spend what you would on a ticket or inside the ground on the local area.

It's one game that will almost certainly dross whether the fans are there or not. So for one game stay away and do something different. I understand it's routine and for some a way to switch off for 90mins or so, but just do do something within the local community.

Surely that's a better story - 'Boycotting rovers fans spend x amount on local cafe's/businesses in Venkys protest.'

I don’t think the boycott will any difference at all, especially when it’s a league game. I think, at best, the owners are indifferent and any news seems to go through Pasha. He’ll just point to the official attendance figure that will be around 10k, if not higher.

The 'official attendance' will be the same as it always is, as it counts tickets sold not bums on seats

The true figure will come in the FOI request to the police, who will release actual data

In any case, you will be able to see, visually, if there is a reduction in attendance. What Pasha points to is irrelevant.

Nobody pays attention to the announced crowd these days.

Leicester, West Ham have both had very empty grounds in recent weeks with ‘27,000’, ‘58,000’ announced or whatever.

Ive heard the phrase "I want a Club to be proud of" a number of times from Herbie and others on here recently.

I dont think I would even put it that high. Id like to see a Club that is TRYING.

Everyone makes mistakes and doesnt get everything right. Nor is there a divine right to success. However if I thought I saw a Club that I thought was once again acting in good faith, TRYING to win football matches, TRYING to be successful and didnt appear to view it's supporters like something they'd just stepped in on the pavement...................

Id take that compared to what we have now.
