  1. What's Leeds like for beer. They have some top rate bottlers.
  2. The owners, board and our senior management expect us to forget and many of us do. It's like the Maguire FU never happened, although as the ball in now back with Orlando they will be the reason why it never ever happens. There will never be an outcome for this fictitious internal investigation into what happened in January. They think we are stupid and they are correct in many cases. Lunatics running what is an asylum. And still I read expectations of a rebuild starting this summer. I can't make this up.
  3. Totally agree. I had a typo in my post. It should read "can't get grants" ... They are friggin billionaires!
  4. I read the Forum minutes too. Lots about the many repairs, due to years of neglect, needed at Ewood but no mention of such expenses being outside of FFP and therefore an easy payment for the billionaires. Crowd funding for safe standing as they can't get grants for such ....... Waggott is a charlatan of decades of same BS.
  5. Did JE say that Coventry getting rid of their trash owners was the catalyst to all round improvement at the club...... I thought not.
  6. He's a Company Man, has the condescending smile so necessary to play the part and he's not very bright, indeed a tad thick as Pig shit.
  7. The GD is a worry but I just can't see Plymouth getting a point at Millwall, whose home form is good.
  8. The bookies are correct. Huddersfield and Plymouth will not finish above Rovers. I'm not saying that they will both be relegated. We are safe on 49 points. I hope this survives the time test.
  9. Simms will score so we need at least 2 goals for a win. So basically step forward Sammie and save us. Robins will motivate Coventry, that is a given, and I hope our lot don't fall for the "they are fatigued" bollocks. That would be a recipe for disaster. Coventry only lost to a good Hull side because they gift wrapped 2 of Hull's goals and were victims of Ref inadequacy in the build up to the penalty.
  10. The 4th one, where he just sinks to his knees with no other movement, has happened more than once as has just standing still as the ball goes in. Makes me wonder if he needs glasses.
  11. It really was a great finish. Perfectly hit. Hyam is clumsy, he tried to control the ball, big mistake, but put in that predicament by Pears thinking he can do a controlled headed pass, what, 30 or more yards from goal. He was close to the touchline he should have just headed it out of play. Both made fatal errors, meanwhile Wharton was ambling back like a beached walrus to provide cover.
  12. 66% possession, 6 shots, 0 on target and lose 5-0 Your the man, Russell. And contrary to opinion expressed by another they will not win the title, not gain an automatic promotion and, I really hope, continue Russell's implosion into the playoffs.
  13. The right choice would have been Pears heading it out of touch and not playing a header to a player facing him and at an awkward height.
  14. I expect Leicester and Coventry to win their home midweek games. Coventry will come to Ewood still in the playoffs mix and Leicester could be putting the icing on a title win at home. I too expect no further points, hope 49 are enough and trust in the inadequacy of others. Not pessimistic, just realistic. If I'm wrong I can be 😊 Edit: the Leeds of last night would have torn us a new one.
  15. That's how I saw it. Atwell, hmmmmm, best not opine, it would be impolite.
  16. He had time to kick the ball again. It was close to him. Once the ball bounced and spun away he was doomed. He's not that agile at the best of times. Hyam played his part, over hit ball, on goal and bobbly. That doesn't excuse Pears not making proper contact with the ball. Specsavers needed.
  17. Thank you! Still getting used to navigating that site. It confirms that Dolan and Gallagher didn't manage a single one between them. Markanday put himself about a bit in his cameo.
