  1. This wasn't just any old loss was it.... Stuffed at home by a team in the bottom 3 all season in what should have been a must win game - tactics/formation wrong no intensity or desire - no it wasn't just any old loss it was a dire disgraceful loss by one of the worst squads I've seen in 50 yrs of watching...
  2. Totally agree about the back 3 the players aren't suited to it neither are the wing backs who don't havete pace or mobility for the role
  3. This is the price for setting the ambition bar to just trying to stay up - owners no ambition ceo no ambition DoF no ambition manager no ambition / useless delete as appropriate - team leaderless mostly useless / overpaid mercenaries with no ambition(SS excepted) - they've set out to just avoid relegation - well it's staring them in the face....
  4. 11 mins added time and still no urgency or intensity - disgrace
  5. At half time I was thinking how many of this team would I want to see playing next year and could only see 2 or 3 sadly we will see most of them apart from sammie and they won't get us out of Div1...
  6. So this is the keeper who's outfield play was so much better than kaminskis eh? But it's the lack of intensity and urgency that's created this ball should have been going the other way...
  7. We are pretty poor tbh pickering too slow to play this far up the pitch hyam looks dodgy and pears gives me the heebie jeebies...
  8. Supposing just supposing we do stay up - then what? A new dawn with rejuvenated players manager and owners or more of the same following another fire sale to keep the lights on and the import of more 3rd rate loanees - death by a thousand cuts - I'd take relegation now if it meant Venkys and their cronies would fook off
  9. We should be throwing caution to the wind a go down fighting but instead is tip tap tip tap give the ball away bollocks - dreadful
  10. All I can hear on Sky is a child crying - at least I think it's a child 🙄
  11. Earlier in this thread the 5-2 against Plymouth in 75 was mentioned - reckon that team would have hammered this load of 3rd rate shirkers off the park - how many of our current squad would get into that team - Sammie and that's about it for me....
  12. How many of this lot actually care and are playing for the shirt? Sammie and Scott probably but on tonight's evidence that's about it - a bunch of third rate half arsed non tryers....
  13. Was prepared to give JE some leeway but this has relegation written all over it - players aren't good enough neither is the manager but we know where the blame ultimately lies...
  14. But he has nothing to aim at - it's not as if pickering is bombing on - maybe swap them...
  15. bbc have got formation wrong Gallagher in goal and Wahlstedt as a false 9 surely - couldn't be any worse 🙈
  16. Can't but help wonder how much the distractions of his negotiations with Sweden which were clearly going on during the slump contributed to it either consciously or unconsciously - he was clearly disillusioned with the hierarchy but it was almost as if he had lost interest /motivation to change anything on the pitch.
  17. Back to the bbc team - thought it was good to hear Shearer mention Tony Parkes in the build up...yes he is going to favour Newcastle but clearly still has fond memories Lineker I thought was his usual anti rovers his comments after the 1st half were way off - Murphy we know about maybe not as bad as he can be but anyone listening would think he used to be a decent footballer...
  18. Reckon he's given up on the game with those subs... Playing for the weekend...
  19. Gallagher is an athlete for sure but so was Usain bolt - having said that his defensive work is good - maybe he should convert to cb bit like cloughie did with Kenny burns... Mind burns was a decent cf...
  20. https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20240222-paul-bradshaw-a-tribute/ nice tribute with a clear implication he was sold too cheaply - we have a long history of that....
  21. Really good keeper - remember a save at the Blackburn end when he half stopped it ball flew over his head and he spun round and clawed it off the line - seems like yesterday....
  22. Umm most of the players I was referring to by implication were landed early in the window or in previous - of course Waggott is more responsible but don't think he was recruiting... If we are going vto apportion blame the buck stops with the owners and always has...
  23. The worrying thing is - looking at the crap GB has landed us with - how on earth do you rearrange these deck chairs to stop the barge sinking - Gallagher to CB and Hyam up front or Telalovic to swap with team bus driver? The result will be the same....
