As is likely that many Rovers fans going to Blackpool on Saturday will travel by train, please be aware of the chaos caused by Northern Rail on previous Saturdays when they cancelled trains at the very last minute, had trains that only had three carriages and also had a train that should have gone through to Manchester stop before Preston meaning a join up with another train before arriving at Preston seriously overcrowded! Total chaos!!

It's nearly a couple of months now since BRFCS.com was relaunched, to coincide with the start of the new season. Rovers survived transfer deadline day without any signings and we survived the busiest day yet since we took over without any outages ... I think we win that one. Looking at the stats that we have available it's clear that most users have the forum part of the site bookmarked and drop straight in on the forum without visiting the front page, and to be fair that's what we expected but it does mean you might miss some of the stuff on the front page so here's a little summary. Every Friday we post a collection of the *ahem* best tweets of the week, mostly amusing but some are touching or uplifting. Here's last weeks This Week on Twitter, Delap's Derbies have made their way from Twitter to BRFCS, the amazing Blackburn Roverseas has returned with his fantastic match previews and more on Youtube. There's also the Match Center where you can see the upcoming fixtures and past results. This is a player issued jacket which was worn in the 1995/96 season, size large. Was sold this a number of years ago as being Ray Harfords but I have no documentation of this, all what is clear is that this was issued to the squad and has the embroidered crest. Popular fan forum, BRFCS.com to relaunch with expanded content, partners with 4000 Holes. Tuesday 27th July 2021 This Wednesday, July 28th 2021 sees the re-launch of the BRFCS.com website. The leading Blackburn Rovers fans online forum will expand to include articles from guest authors and will incorporate the hugely popular “4000 Holes“ fanzine archive. The new website is formatted in a magazine style content and retains the much-loved forum. Fans can continue to have their say on the topics of the day, just as they have for over 25 years, sharing their hot takes after the latest match, or opinion on a new signing; but now, when they have more to say, there's a place for them to say it. BRFCS.com already has a team of familiar names to create multi-media content and some new contributors have been added to the team too - keep your eyes out for interesting items from them all. The "new" team behind the venture have been operating the site for the past 3 or 4 years. I’ll be the Forum, @Herbie6590 on podcast content, @4,000 Holes on website content, @StubbsUK running the website back end and @Rothon front end. The website will by run through Northern Horde Ltd. We’d like to thank the previous owners Glenn and Ste for everything they have done for the site historically. 
We’d also like to thank everyone who has helped us get this far, special mentions to the moderation team led by @K-Hod whilst we worked on the site, @Kamy100, @Biddy and Phil T. I believe ex Rover Ally Dawson passed away today at the tender age of 63. We never really saw the best of him after he suffered a horrendous head injury while playing for Rangers but I still have fond memories of his time playing under the Don. RIP Ally
