  1. You could also say it was leaning on being sexist and disrespectful.
  2. No it was a one off. They play home matches at Bamber Bridge.
  3. I'm sure Gemma Donnelly and her players wouldn't agree. At a time when ladies football is on the rise following the magnificent achievements of the Lionesses who incidentally had 3 ex Rovers players representing them it's not s helpful post for either staff ir fans of the club. It was an unnecessary post due to devaluing the ladies game at a time when there's bigger interest and admiration. Your post ridiculed them and in my opinion you should have kept it to yourself.
  4. I'm sure the club and ladies in particular will thank you for this or so unnecessary dig at them. Poor post.
  5. Praise the Lord for the gift of laughter. After Reading we all need some much cheering up that a few new signings would do.
  6. The one you have to stand at the back of the carpark to see the score?
  7. Ep's son no doubt?
  8. Seems we're getting nowhere here as you keep failing to answer the questions I'm posing. Ah well, we'll leave it at that.
  9. Yes, however part of your meeting was to ask regards the drainage and generator, two huge issues when you factor in games being called off due to waterlogged pitch etc. You claimed before this meeting you'd e-mailed the club, arranged a meeting, had the meeting and kept most to yourself which you're perfectly within your rights to do so. However, you seemingly didn't get any feedback regards the drainage/generator and came across as a willy waver.
  10. I'm not unhappy about anything Chaddy, just stating facts that you seemingly ain't. Stick to the point, Drainage was claimed as was a generator Was there any point to your meeting? Glen sure showed you up days later that's for sure.
  11. But you did state the pitch had maintenance work on the Riverside drainage aswell as a new generator pump.
  12. I never mentioned lighting, the whole point of your 'email the club' was to see if 1864 was indeed correct regards his claims which included new drainage and a new generator pump. Was there any point to your meeting and why keep most of the meeting to yourself, I like many others on here found that strange?
  13. No you're incorrect and missing a few facts here Chaddy. The pitch isn't dug up and re-laid, they skim the grass off leaving it bare, they then re-seed it for fresh grass. Now comes the part that 1864 claimed work done on drainage near the Riverside and a new generator pump etc.. Nothing. Finally you met with Waggot based on this and absolutely nothing you posted rectified any of these claims? Strange.
  14. We play WBA tomorrow
  15. over to you Swag..
  16. Many fans are not willing to fork out £429 etc in the current climate, instead choosing to pick and choose games. Many fans can't commit to 23 home matches in particular midweek games so purchasing a match ticket is a sensible option. 4 5k did so for the QPR match. Last seasons opening fixture against Swansea just 1k did. Let's see what the next few games bring and more importantly if we drop off.
  17. Which includes over 14k early bird ST sales that were purchased whilst still in the Premier League. If they don't achieve promotion this season the 'glory' fans will soon disappear.
  18. If WBA win their next game 2k is the least they'll fetch to Ewood. Like I said between 3-4k. We'll see.
  19. Tad unfair here MB, as from last week ST sales had reached 8.5k We had 4.5k walk ons. WBA will bring more than 2k, I'd guess more between 3-4k If we win at Swansea and the Baggies win we should be looking north of a crowd of around 16k
  20. I thought this was a transfer post not the daily Dack news thread. Getting really boring this now.
  21. Just my son told me a guy who started the Brittain rumours said he's in his way.
  22. Anyone else heard a rumour regarding Todd Cantwell?
