  1. I'm not unhappy about anything Chaddy, just stating facts that you seemingly ain't. Stick to the point, Drainage was claimed as was a generator Was there any point to your meeting? Glen sure showed you up days later that's for sure.
  2. But you did state the pitch had maintenance work on the Riverside drainage aswell as a new generator pump.
  3. I never mentioned lighting, the whole point of your 'email the club' was to see if 1864 was indeed correct regards his claims which included new drainage and a new generator pump. Was there any point to your meeting and why keep most of the meeting to yourself, I like many others on here found that strange?
  4. No you're incorrect and missing a few facts here Chaddy. The pitch isn't dug up and re-laid, they skim the grass off leaving it bare, they then re-seed it for fresh grass. Now comes the part that 1864 claimed work done on drainage near the Riverside and a new generator pump etc.. Nothing. Finally you met with Waggot based on this and absolutely nothing you posted rectified any of these claims? Strange.
  5. We play WBA tomorrow
  6. over to you Swag..
  7. Many fans are not willing to fork out £429 etc in the current climate, instead choosing to pick and choose games. Many fans can't commit to 23 home matches in particular midweek games so purchasing a match ticket is a sensible option. 4 5k did so for the QPR match. Last seasons opening fixture against Swansea just 1k did. Let's see what the next few games bring and more importantly if we drop off.
  8. Which includes over 14k early bird ST sales that were purchased whilst still in the Premier League. If they don't achieve promotion this season the 'glory' fans will soon disappear.
  9. If WBA win their next game 2k is the least they'll fetch to Ewood. Like I said between 3-4k. We'll see.
  10. Tad unfair here MB, as from last week ST sales had reached 8.5k We had 4.5k walk ons. WBA will bring more than 2k, I'd guess more between 3-4k If we win at Swansea and the Baggies win we should be looking north of a crowd of around 16k
  11. I thought this was a transfer post not the daily Dack news thread. Getting really boring this now.
  12. Just my son told me a guy who started the Brittain rumours said he's in his way.
  13. Anyone else heard a rumour regarding Todd Cantwell?
  14. It seems you watch a different match to the majority, of course Dolan made an impact and imo was an excellent sub when JDT put him on. Must be wonderful for folk sat near you at matches, so negative and opinionated.
  15. Just been looking at the Peterborough fans message board, seems the majority are resigned now he's been sold.
  16. So you 'couldn't give a monkeys' about how it appears etc.. Really? When we have a lot of fairweather fans as well as fans who don't attend Ewood mainly due to matchday experience/atmosphere etc. Seeing all those empty seats puts the club in a bad light and is NOT the sort of publicity we need right now. In regards your 'why do fans need less stewarding?' is that a serious question or are you just being pedantic?
  17. Of course it saves £. Less stewards and police etc Why else do you think he does this? This all started with TM, he's gone now so why carry on? I take it you ain't too bothered about a decent atmosphere at Ewood or how awful it looked on media platforms when Trav hit that pearler in front of 5k empty blue seats?
  18. QPR fans brought decent numbers but yet again Waggot puts them up in the gods to save a few pennys. Ruins the atmosphere and any possible banter between fans and looks bloody awful seeing a completely empty lower tier. Wish he'd stop this...
  19. Possibly not, who knows, however that deflects from you being harsh from your original post. I think you're missing the point.
  20. Yes and I stand by my original post in that you're being a bit harsh. I and a few others who've commented on JV today think he did ok and worked hard for the team. Opinions heh 😉
  21. Bit harsh, not really for his first start in the Championship. He deserved his chance following a brilliant pre season. Give the lad a break
  22. This was proven when we played Liverpool and Utd in the cup. Obviously not all who say they won't return but a lot would. In any case, we lost many fans due to relegation from the Premier League as well as the fiasco that Venkys brought.
  23. Don't agree 'there are thousands' who don't go due to the owners. Majority of these would be back in a flash if Rovers somehow returned to the Premier League irrespective who owned us.
