They've gotten lucky with their last 2 appointments, somehow managing to get us in the top 6 and challenge for it.... Their luck will run out with this appointment. Really hope I'm wrong of course. This will be a disaster. I can already feel it. I don't know why, I just sense it. The appointment they needed to make was Gary O'Neill, the most sensible at least. They've typically done it on the cheap and gotten a desperate out of work manager, David Wagner would've been a better choice in my opinion out of that unwanted pool of managers. Shite.

At Charlotte... Might fancy another crack at the champ?
-
A name not mentioned hardly is Dean Smith. I could see him being one that hasn't made the bookies lists.
-
Doesn't matter... Picked the wrong team in the first place. Lowe bottled it to a struggling Swansea side, picked dad's army and we got overrun with younger legs.
-
That's it Sanderson... I've seen enough. You're fucking rubbish aswell. Get out the team and fucking stay there. Wank.
-
I'll give credit when it's due but also criticism... It's not the first time he's been absolutely anonymous. He was a waste of space against QPR. He gets a free pass because he's capable of popping up with a goal.
-
Seems like a nice fella but fuck me... Buckley was starting to hit form... bench. Sign Kargbo who looks good... Bench. Big signing in Dennis... bench. All the while fucking dad's army fucking trundle about on the pitch. Forshaw, Hedges and Weimann are fucking rank. Sanderson poor aswell. Get them all off.
-
So many awful performances here. Weimann is only starting because he's capable of popping up with a goal. Misses the best chance of the game and otherwise offers nothing. Hedges, Dolan, Pears also absolutely dreadful. Don't waste time and get Kargbo, Dennis and Buckley on at half time. Awful.
-
Really annoying performance this so far but it's mainly down to the side picked. Get Hedges, Weimann and Forshaw all off the pitch. All past it. Wiemann should be an impact sub. Need to win the midfield battle but won't happen with Forshaw and Hedges, they're chasing shadows.
-
Can someone explain to me why the fuck Ryan Hedges is playing? He's finished. Shit on the ball, offers absolutely nothing except for covering a lot of grass but does the square root of jack shit.
-
Considering Hull are down there with Derby... They look leagues apart in quality.
-
They are but to be fair I can see what he's trying to do here. Stay in the game and try to nick it. a very low on quality side
-
Millwall should have a penalty.

Team for tomorrow: Pears Brittain Hyam Sanderson Ribeiro Travis Forshaw Dolan Weimann Hedges Gueye

https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24950628.blackburn-rovers-manager-search-latest-interviews/ Saying some candidates haven't made it out into the public domain and Karanka is set to go to a 2nd interview. Really hope it isn't Karanka. If it isn't any of the obvious ones discussed then I'd just prefer a left field European punt similar to JDT.

I bet the Heitinga's name has been mentioned behind the scenes. Came fairly close to being West Brom manager.
-
Fair shout. Would be a very experienced Mowbray type appointment.
-
Anyone heard the name Ryan Mason in the rumour mill?
-
Kesler-Hayden on loan from Villa. Decent player, gets forwards well, a very modern full back. Couldn't understand why they didn't start Frokjaer, always looks decent.
-
2 very organised teams not giving up much to each other. I'm very biased of course but I wouldn't swap any player that I saw on that pitch tonight for any of ours. Good goal from Riis tbf. He's a bit of a donkey at the same time he'd be a decent signing on a free considering we have feck all money to spend. One thing I'll give to Preston... They make more of an effort with their ground than our lot do. Not neglected like our shower in charge. I left bored at 70 mins. Absolutely fucking freezing.
-
At deepdale tonight, I run my son's footy team and they're taking pens at HT. Atmosphere dead and full of empty seats. They have absolutely no reason to shoot their mouths of about us.
-
Am I missing something besides the telegraph mentioning O'Neil set to be interviewed?
-
Can anyone remember if Eustace was in the bookies lists and if so, what odds?
-
Hoping to go to this one. If the players have serious ambitions of the playoffs then it's a must win. They're very out of form and we have to take advantage of that. We have options and quality around the pitch to cause them a lot of problems. On the other hand they'll be fighting for their lives to not get dragged into a relegation battle. Have to just keep picking up points even if it is just a draw but this is very winnable.
-
Which is partly why he will leave. He'll no doubt feel under appreciated and will get higher wages elsewhere. We can forget about him staying here.
