Shame with Callum. Only really showed us what he was all about last season, before that was so stop start with injuries even though I knew how good he could be. If we'd have sold for 5 million then would have been fair business. Travis is probably next. No way can we replace the quality he has with the budget we have so let's hope big Lewis Miller comes in and offers something different. Perhaps some nastiness and physicality.

With another midfielder coming in, it really does leave you scratching your head at the Forshaw signing. One things for sure, the average height of the team is surely going to be taller. Miller, Henrikson and Tavares all 6ft 2.

With a cheap signing like him, let's say he cost us 250k... You should expect absolutely nothing, anything more is a bonus.

I'd say if they've got big money to throw down then fair play but we won't hardly see a fucking penny... So no point selling him. They'll definitely entertain offers though and wouldn't be surprised if his agent knows the magic number and has been doing his best to find a buyer.

I considered Brittain gone a while ago, so I'm glad they've moved to actually try and replace him. Signing a big, physical international at a good age as a replacement I can't really complain at. What I can complain about is that this summer we're still in the green. Our sales out weight our buys so any talk of a budget etc... is absolute bullshit. They need to put their hands in their pockets and bring in some attacking talent, specifically on the right and a number 10.

Our net spend is in the green by my calculations, or at least breaking even. Obviously we don't know the undisclosed fee's but you can make a guesstimation. Sales: JRC: 750-1m Kid to Chelsea- 1m Dolan- 270k Sales = 2.27m Buys: De Neve: 300k (maybe less) Mcgloughlin 500k Alebiousu 500k (maybe less) Tavares Probably 750k (2 million is absolute bullshit) Between 2 & 2.25m Give or take the sales and buys tally and correlate to a spend what you bring in plan. So in my opinion, we've spent absolutely fuck all so far, depends on how gullible you are about the Tavares fee. And let's not forget, there are still players likely or who could possibly leave, Buckley, Brittain, Trav, Tronstad. I guarantee, we'll be in the green by the end of the transfer window.

Said before but the most realistic signing is like to see them make on the right is Koki Saito. News around him is quiet.

As stated above... If they can't improve that position to play ahead of Hedges, I'd argue it's a signing not even worth making.

This subject really pisses me off. I'm sick of other people telling you how you should feel about the subject like we're fucking stupid. We all know why he left. We know the club is a joke. Beck is a great little player. His physicality surprised me for his size as he's really aggressive but it did tell over a season that he wasn't robust enough yet to hack it week in week out.

It's stuff like this that makes the banning of peptides even more ridiculous.

There will be a baseline where he'll be getting paid what he's on for his club but paid extra based on appearances.

He doesn't do it. He wanders into too many unthreatening areas of the pitch trying to be a playmaker and his finishing/shooting is awful. He's a flashes of brilliance player but those bits of ability aren't in the final third enough.

I think we're lacking a small tricky creative number 10 type. Someone who can take a shot on from range... An Ilias Chair type.

With all the respect in the world... If he can't make it in league 1 and league 2 he shouldn't be anywhere near playing in a Rovers kit. He's not good enough. He's had multiple chances and not taken them. Someone else deserves a go.

Think everyone is getting a bit carried away after today. It's obviously good that they've put in a performance against a prem side but the championship is a totally different kettle of fish than a meaningless pre season friendly. Reserve your judgement after the first 90 mins of the season. Fingers crossed they over achieve again.

I got my hopes up then that we were signing Bali Mumba. Cracking little player IMO.
