I think Hedges at full back is a good option if he can stay fit. He's quick, and offers good protection defensively. Whilst offers little in final 3rd so, makes a lot of sense to me.

I didn't want Weimann anyway. Third. If you think he doesn't want all of Brittain, Trav, Tronstad then you're naive. If he could sign them all, he would and has probably already tried. I've got nothing against the club trying to unearth some gems from more obscure sources, I think it's potentially a good strategy and if a few come off then those involved deserve credit. The only thing that annoys me is the misleading of the transfer fee's. Seeing as we're not signing another CB, I'd say this will probably be the final perm signing of the window, any others will be young prem loans I think.

Lying might be a bit strong but misleading is probably more accurate. What would you say is more plausible... We're spending millions on obscure players from relegated sides in Europe... OR... We're taking cheap punts on obscure players from relegated sides in Europe with deals that are being dressed up as costing us millions in add-ons that will never likely occur?
