v Stoke City (a) - 10/3/23

I've not seen much of this game, but the ten minutes I have seen it's a very lazy performance. And this is the problem, we've got a squad of players that are either inexperienced, poor or inconsistent and we haven't a decent centre forward amongst them. -

I've missed most of the first half, but sounds like absolute crap. -
Yeah, give him another series, you shit.

His younger brother Adam has a lot of potential.

Sheffield United don't look like the team they were at the weekend too, they've been poor against a team that really can't be bothered.
-
Blimey, Reading stroll about. Their midfield is almost comatose.

I don't know if it was Bilic's fault in particular as he's only been in the job 6 months, but Watford weren't doing great. Unfair to sack a manager who didn't even begin the season though.

Head to roll after the transfer screw up?

If he picked out Hirst then it's for the best. -

I've always thought they were better than Burnley but obviously they don't have the same stamina. Burnley struck lucky with their young loanees, Bellis, Tella and Maatsen combined with their other signings gelling quickly. Of course it helps that they could sign an army of players, so if one didn't work the other would. -

Some of the SU players were visibly very frustrated at being unable to break us down. I think them going down to 10 would have really killed off their morale. I see they play their game in hand at Reading tomorrow. I can't see any other result than a win for them there. -

Them being down to 10 men would have been a fair result. If they feel hard done by show them the replay, and the woodwork being smashed twice. -

Of course but it's not as if we're playing Huddersfield or Blackpool, Stoke clearly have some quality and confidence about them. -
Blimey, sad news.

There weren't any Ricky Gervais tribute acts around for sure 😉

They are 7th in the form table. -
Didn't someone say they put a block on a new pitch? And those costs don't contribute to FFP? That may point to whether they are being parsimonious or not, if true.

Remaining fixtures - Predictions

Stoke (A) = D Reading (H) = W B'ham (A) = W Norwich (H) = L H'field (A) = W Hull (H) = W Coventry (H) = L Nobbers (A) = W Dingles (H) = L Luton (H) = D Millwall (A) = L 75 points is my guess, but then I didn't expect wins against Leicester and Sheffield United so we may pick up a few more points if we can keep up that kind of "positivity and hard work". -

In the same season they lost 6-3 to City too 🤭

Gutted that I missed it.

Burnley's reserves against Fleetwood, at home 😄 😄 😄 I didn't mention rattled 😄 I didn't mention your run as lacklustre 😄 I asked why the dip in form? You should be embarassed for losing control over your bodily functions over a question asking if you'd had a few injuries. But at your age, it's unsurprising. Good, your motherbrother will be missing you.

Welcome to the club, you'll have the best times and the worst times 😄 Hopefully you've joined us at the right time and things are only going to get better. The Jack Walker upper view is brilliant. I've been in every part of the stadium and that's probably the best. The Riverside stand is also a good view, I was a ST holder for years in there, but it's now falling to bits.

Not as hilarious as scraping by 10 man Fleetwood in the cup at home, in the 90th minute. So tell me, what was hilarious considering I was just paraphrasing your fellow uncle f***ers?

I was amazed that some of our players were still flying across the pitch in the last ten minutes. Maybe fitness levels are better now.
