  1. They caused mass confusion for anyone watching really. He's come out with two corkers recently. Douglas being poor because of his black and white thinking then Gallagher at RB. Right up there with dew on the grass and not having a dog.
  2. That's true, I was just meaning in an official capacity under normal circumstances he'd be out on his arse.
  3. If John Williams was still in charge he'd have been sacked after the game, new manager shortlist being drawn up this morning.
  4. I'm not sure why you are looking for a balanced discussion on here after we've just been beaten live on Sky with an awful performance by both players and manager. Beaten in a Derby by a very mediocre Preston team who clearly have their own problems. Looks to me like you've got the reaction you wanted.
  5. I can't remember seeing a manager deciding to put a striker at full back before. It's like he's forgotten that he once valued him as a £5m centre forward.
  6. Their training sounds like a farce anyway. He won't train indoors on an artificial pitch? How does he conduct training on the coldest week since 1995 when at the actual match he was frozen to his seat. Does he sit there like that in training?
  7. It's more like we should at least be challenging for the play offs with the squad. I don't see anyone saying we should be at the top of the league with the squad we have.
  8. We've got one striker worth anything, around 1000 midfielders and a consistently terrible defense.
  9. A decent job followed by his lobotomy in the Summer of 2019.
  10. I see that his Sky interview that they've put online is cut short from the one broadcast (and the one broadcast was edited). Tony must have been on the phone to someone. Don't interview me when I'm half asleep ever again.
  11. His interview was far worse on Sky, this was a massive improvement.
  12. Absolutely, if Gallagher was suited to that role. I'd say it's Mowbray's fault for playing him there, and secondly for signing him for such a ludicrous amount of money. And for relying on other teams kids to perform in defensive roles that he's neglected for years.
  13. Different interview to the Sky one, he seems more awake in this one. https://www.facebook.com/1Rovers/posts/5230950493611670
  14. The players don't look like they aren't doing what they are told though, they look like a set of players who are struggling with the managers ideas. Take Gallagher, he runs about a lot, he tries but he's not a wide player. There are so many square pegs in round holes. So I'd say it's the opposite of what he said. They are doing as they are told and that's the problem.
  15. He looked like someone had just woken him up. The gist of what he said was that the players weren't doing what they were told. He said that's not what we do in training so I'm at a loss. I don't know what to say really.
  16. He said he didn't know why we played like that. His interview was about as professional as his performance in the dugout today.
  17. Mowbray spent £12m on a player lucky to be on the bench and a lump of a striker he plays on the wing/full back. How to cock up a team.
  18. Kevin Davies clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.
  19. Dickheads on. He looks like he's disappointed that someone woke him up again.
  20. Chaddy listened to it on the radio so we were brilliant.
