  1. That's more like it.
  2. Worst managerial debut I think I've ever seen in all my time watching football. New manager bounce, more like a new manager implosion.
  3. Took ages to realize it was pointless to only have one up front. And that the midfield was absolutely spineless.
  4. Henley, a fullback who was told it's his last chance. A player who has been dropped by every manager he's played under. What does Coyle do? Play him out of position. Let's limit an already terribly limited player. Well done that's the answer. Lowe, a player that's not good enough to play in his preferred position. A player that's been dropped by every manager he's played under. A player that had a long lay off. What does Coyle do? Makes him captain. Terrifying.
  5. They will hopefully have more to talk about when their wheels fall off, someone pockets the cash and Judas Dyche leaves for pastures new. Nice to know that Rovers p***ed them off to the point of obsession though!
  6. Just been reading the Telegraph comments. I want Coyle to succeed after that. John Claret/Richard Oakley. What an embarassment. He follows Rovers more than his own team. I can't remember giving Burnley a second thought when we were in the PL.
  7. Are we in their thoughts at all?
  8. Beat Leeds and I'll be totally convinced, though I'm 99% there tbh.
  9. Play like today and we'll smash them. Unless Burnley send their referee that is.
  10. I think we're going to be fine. We played a so-called top team today no matter who they might be and only for the referee should have easily got at least a point. We played Boro, another "top team" and won. I'm not even worried about relegation any more, I'm more worried about if Venky's back Lambert. I'd hate them not to, us further stagnate and Lambert end up leaving.
  11. Andy Cole. Brilliant with Jansen, seemed to go off the boil with Yorke in the side.
  12. It was outside the town hall the week after we beat Leicester at Wembley. Amazing day.
  13. Remember when we got promoted and being at the front of the barrier outside the town hall with my mates and us starting off loads of chants. We were still schoolies. What a great evening. I ended up on Granada Reports shaking hands with King Kenny. Bobby Mimms came past and joined in with some of our chanting, and I shook hands with Jack too. I feel very lucky to have enjoyed such moments following Rovers.
  14. I wonder if the media will slag off Wolves fans.
  15. So you can fit your hand in your mouth then? Even so you can count the goals on your other six fingers (if Abbeys prediction comes true).
  16. Sad to hear about this. Never met the chap in person but he's always been a presence on here since I joined up over a decade ago. Rest in peace Mr K.
  17. He was bloody awful.
  18. I agree but last season how often did he play and under what circumstances. Kean at times was playing him on the wing. He'd come from Dundee Utd as their main striker/happy times to playing on the wing for a numpty with everyone unhappy. The guy must have been so demoralized. For me it's a terrible state of affairs that we're looking to get rid of him when he's looked alright at this level, yet we're stuck with Edinho who isn't anywhere near the level we need in this division. Same with Formica and Rochina, they aren't the best players for the moment (they may develop into good players under a proper manager) but I don't want to see them go and replaced by inferior Portuguese players which is what seems to be happening at the moment.
  19. Shame we can't upload on here, just been doing some photoshoppery.
  20. I'm sitting here on the outskirts of Blackburn and still feel powerless. Yet across the ocean, a bunch of people are playing God with our club.
  21. If this is true I can't see it being a good motivator for the players, Jensen being a liked coach down at Brockhall.
  22. Is that a fact? If it is, the tiny amount of support for Kean I had left has now all but disappeared.
  23. So if they've got rid, have they paid him his compensation? Or did he not have long left? Or did he walk? I've got a sneaking suspicion that the only reason that Kean is still in a job is because they don't want to pay another manager compensation, after Sam's pay-off. However if they've paid Jensen off then it gives us some hope.
