  1. Trying to be positive, at least Travis isn't on the pitch.
  2. They are all shit rigger. It'll be someone else next match, and they'll be just as shit. On half time he'll change things about, Dolan will most likely move to a wing, and whoever replaces him will be shit. With about ten minutes to go Telelovic will replace Dolan and go upfront, and he'll be shit. I too hope I'm eating humble pie by 5pm.
  3. Relegation zone if we lose this one, and I don't like that opening line up one bit so I won't be surprised if we are right down there by the end of the day. Then again there aren't many combinations of our squad I do like, it's bland or blander. I don't trust many of them to get a result.
  4. Bit of perspective needed, if we had a half-decent striker available he'd be upfront, but we don't.
  5. Moran ran his socks off on Wednesday, that's the only reason I can think of.
  6. Especially when the other option is Pickering.
  7. 10 man Sunderland are getting battered at home.
  8. Aside from everything else that could go wrong today, I hope the officials give us a break. They were very poor against Coventry. Be nice if we can end the game without an injury too, someone limps off every time we play.
  9. I’ll be surprised if Travis doesn’t play with Wharton being injured. There’s not many options to fair.
  10. You should have ended the sentence at “those around him.”
  11. I'm afraid we are Private Frazer!
  12. We haven't got the personnel for playing it forward and cutting out the defensive errors too.
  13. How awful. Sorry to hear that, you've been dealt a bad hand recently. I hope things turn around for you and your family and your Mum gets well soon.
  14. The facts also show he's putting a team out to lose because it's been underfunded for years.
  15. We weren't even half as open against Coventry.
  16. For me we looked worse off when Travis came on, the massive gap between defence and forwards returned.
  17. I can't see it, he looks genuinely gutted in the dugout.
  18. We didn't against Coventry, and lost 1-0 because Szmodics had to keep dropping back to help out in midfield and the rest of them couldn't score in a Mancunian back alley brothel.
  19. Aka, they were told by a spiv at a gathering that there was a club going that they could pick up cheap where they could breed footballers like chickens, and sell them on for big fees.
  20. Okay, better than Pears and the defence was better organised.
  21. Yes they couldn't even pay Buckley.
  22. I think this is the season when the thread we've been dangling on, snaps. You can't keep diminishing the playing staff, losing millions, keeping inept executives on and having absent owners without it eventually all breaking down.
  23. It has but prior to this evening we've scored in every match bar one. We either defend better and hope for a 0-0, or to nick a goal and take all 3 points, or we go all out attack have loads of chances and hopefully score more than the opposition (and usually don't). That's the trouble with having no clinical strikers, you need to throw everything forward all match and risk getting caught on the break. Players like Szmodics will score playing like that but tonight he was helping out a lot in midfield.
  24. There's no one who can fire him at Ewood, which leaves Venkys, who couldn't care less and are the real problem.
  25. Our defending was better tonight, it was the attack that let us down.
