Preston haven't been tested yet. I caught some of their game and Swansea were awful. Preston wanted it more but weren't much better. A bit like us, can attack but poor upfront.

Firstly, Leonard and Dolan shouldn't be in the first team. Fantastic goal from Hedges, we needed someone to step up and he did. Pears did well. Travis played very well. Hyam was Colin Hendry levels of brilliant. I thought Gallagher did very well by his standards. Cock up at the end which shows he's still capable, but he was jumping higher than I've ever seen, winning balls and contributed. When he came on Scott Wharton looked solid so hopefully he's back to his old self. A much needed 3 points after the Hull game.

We're screwed if Hyam is injured, unless Scott Wharton can be the player he was 18 months ago.

Looking at his record, it wasn’t spectacular in L1 which is why he shouldn’t have been brought in as our main goal threat. JRC isn’t great defensively and Pickering has always been poor. Brittain annoyed me by getting in a good position to cross then fluffing it. JRC should be in midfield, Dolan shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team, Leonard is a youth player, Hedges is inconsistent, Travis is frustrating and where has the Adam Wharton gone from that Blackpool match? He’s a great passer but he doesn’t show much urgency does he? He was running the show when he played last season.

I’d rather keep berating him in the hope he’ll score his other six goals for the season.

We shouldn’t be starting games with a youth player up front and the likes of Hedges and Dolan.
