Jansen at his best vs Dickov at his best is a no brainer. Jansen has far more talent. However, Jansen isn't at his best, and hasn't been for years. Dickov is currently a better option, and in far better form.

The short range chip and dummy round the keeper are the best ways of scoring one on ones I have found. Need a quick(ish) centre forward, Bellamy is perfect for the job. -

Currently playing a Master League on 4 star with Rovers, comfortably top of the league and in the cup final in my first season. Hoping for promotion and the step up to 5 star. I'm playing a very simple game plan. I've signed one player - Jan Koller. Team lines up as follows - Friedel Neill Nelsen Todd Tugay Emerton Thompson Bellamy Pedersen Kuqi Koller Knock the ball out to Neill, run as far as poss without being tackled, as the defender approaches, lay it out to Emerton. Same again, draw in the full bag and put Bellamy through down the line. Simple double tap cross to the two big men, one of them more often than not gets an effort on target in. Usually score 2 or 3 a game no problem. Have noticed a few nice touches that I had never noticed before, not sure whether they are new, but things like holding down square to close defenders down with a spare man while you track the runner with the player you're controlling makes the game more enjoyable and gives you another dimension to consider. Similarly, tapping R2 after a forward pass to have the player who passed the ball sprint forward ahead of who he passed it to - very good way to get in behind. Also enjoying the lay-off free kick, yet to master it though! Fantastic game, its hard to imagine getting so much enjoyment from FIFA. The beauty of Pro Evo is simple - it makes you think deeper than any other football game. If you thrive on that kind of gameplay, its the one for you. If you prefer screaming them in from 40 yards routinely, then its probably not. -

I'll have a piece of that! Last time I saw us at a price like that to win a game we turned Arsenal over at Highbury. -
And how would you police who gets in to the "Ethnic End"? Make them show their passports on the turnstile? Turn away people who can't prove their ethnicity? Can of worms Hughesy, our stewards are already on occasion accused of Hitler-esque tendencies!

Haha, classic Hughesy

I'm not sure I subscribe to the worries over Bellamy's attitude. Sure he's "spikey" on the pitch, but that's never been a bad thing. Off the pitch, he's only ever fallen out with Souness, to my knowledge. But then, who hasn't? -
If he carries on the way he is going right now, he's a good bet for another year extension. It's a long season though - he's at the age now where one injury - even an innocuous looking one, can take a long time to come back from.

At Half time is was 0-0. Second half we brought on Bellamy, won 3-0 and he set all of the goals up. Surely a balanced report would be to give him the vast majority of the credit? -
Liam Miller is an excellent shout, he's a very very good player.
-
Slightly defeatist, but probably not too crazy an idea.
-
I'd be happy with him - perhaps too similar to Bellamy though.
-
....and an offer of £50 million would probably be enough for Henry - what's your point? We don't have £4m, and even if we did do you seriously think we'd spend it on a 16 year old??
-
he he he
-
He's a centre forward Hughesy, and already way out of our league.

We aren't going to replace Tugay with a player similar to him - there aren't any. We're trying to think of a holding midfielder that doesn't go forward too much, can pick killer passes, but can't tackle. Rocking horse sh*t, my friends. Sean Davis doesn't have the creativity, neither do Gravesen, or Mendes. Steed Malbranaque is the closest thing - and there would be a list as long as your arm of more attractive destinations for him. We need to find a different way of playing once Tugay goes. A midfield of Savage and Gravesen doesn't offer much alternative to going out wide. I hate to say it, but Ferguson was the perfect guy for the job - Souness knew that when he signed him. If he was still here, we'd be looking at the next 5 or so years without too many centre midfield worries. I'd like to think Hughes is monitoring Koumas' progress at Cardiff - if he can keep his temperament in check, he's a Premiership star waiting to shine.

To the tune of Yellow Submarine (an old classic this one) - "Number one, is Bellamy, Number two, is Bellamy, Number three, is Bellamy, Number four, is Bellamy, Number five, is Bellamy, Number six, is Bellamy, Number seven, is Bellamy, Number eight, is Bellamy, Number nine, is Bellamy, Number ten, is Bellamy, Number eleven, is Bellamy, And on the bench, is Bellamyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, All I want is a team of Bellamy's, a team of Bellamy's, a team of Bellamy's........" Easy to remember, and like all great football songs, it takes feckin ages to get to the point!

Why on Earth would we want Rovers players at the World Cup??? As for Scotland, superb result away to Slovenia, and three magnificent goals. Slovenia are no mugs and have qualified for their share of major tournaments recently, to win 3-0 at their place was very good going. But then, if you're that way inclined you can put a negative spin on anything.

Typical response from an England fan. Krislu isnt saying that Norway are a better team, he is simply stating his opinion on the England team. Relating them to his own country doesn't change his opinion, nor does it make England any more likely to succeed next Summer. -
At Kilmarnock - he's still rubbish. Dean Windass and Ian Glasscock.

You lot are such a bunch of little girls sometimes I didn't go cos it's really far away, I couldnt afford it and I couldn't be arsed. I'm not going to United either. I'm not going to any more Ewood games til they clear the bloody roadworks on the M6. I don't really give a Brad Pitt if folk think that makes me disloyal - I'll go whenever I want to, not whenever other people think I should.
-
Except maybe Jimmy Crankie.
-
Absolutely. I feel for JW and the rest of them - Rovers frequently run schemes with reduced ticket prices, and the fans very rarely react and actually turn up. If the fans reacted better to these initiatives, maybe the club would be inclined to make them more regular.

She is - the young man's Carol Vorderman.
