I was online last night with it and loads of people were complaining that they keep getting disconnected - me included. I stuck the old Pro Evo on just to check and that worked fine. They must be having a problem with their servers or something

I thought he did very well for us last year and this may have been on sparky's mind too. With Bert out and Jay Mac not having many games under his belt we didnt really have much choice

Got online with it last night (PS2) No Lag what so ever. Now, I am not one for reading the instructions but I went in like normal and made a room - a few names popped up which I thought was strange but then it started with 4 of us in there - with no lag what so ever - very impressed. I found it hard going last night though. At first I didnt think much had changed but it soon becomes apparent that it has. It will take a bit of getting used to but I am loving it

The one I used last night was for the ps2 so i assume that the new one will be Not sure about the xbox but here is the ps2 instructions:- (FROM KAMMY LAST YEAR) 1.Copy file(s) to your PC hard drive. Ensure that they have been extracted from any zip/rar files. 2.Insert Max Drive into a spare USB port on your PC 3.Open the Max Drive Memory Manger software on your PC 4.Send the relevant file(s) to your Max Drive 5.Remove Max Drive & place it in your PS2 USB port. 6.Run the PS2 cd you get with Max Drive. 7.Press at the file & a tick will appear on screen, in the box on the side 8.Uncrush the file to your memory card Detailed Step By Step Guide: I had to unzip these files. I then "right clicked" on the max drive option file & went to the "send to.." option. The Max drive (drive F) was an option here, so I sent the file to that. If you then double click on the Max drive icon on your desktop, on the left h& side you should see the option file that you just downloaded. Take the Max drive out of the usb port & plug it into your PS2. Insert the PS2 disk that you, hopefully, received into your PS2 & then choose the max drive as your "primary device". Then go to "uncrush" to memory card 1 (or 2, depends on if you have your PS2 memory card in port 1 or 2). Once this is done, reset your PS2 & remove the max drive disk & actual max drive from your PS2 & insert Pro Evo. You should then see an option file load up as normal for the game & thats it!!

Even with all my moaning about it needing a patch, it is a vast improvment to last year. There is allot more going on and you do start to feel that if you say the wrong thing that it will upset the apple cart. Anyway, back to moaning top three moans this week:- 1. Why does it keep siging 18 year olds up? (yes I have not got the assistant manager sorting contracts 2. The vast amount of injuries are getting silly now. I had only 3 of my first team fit the other day 3. Rovers, why are we so bad? Benni should have better ratings than he actually has - is this me just being biased though? Its not only till you take over as rovers manager that you realise how old our squad really is

I havent had a problem in the past with Pro Evo online though on PS2

Is anyone else playing the PS2 version and are you having problems getting online? Its lets me register but wont let me through to the rooms? Guess their servers might not be up yet?

Not so, I have bought FIFA every year it has come out (along with PES) and I like the differences in them both however. the little things that you find nice in the new FIFA soon get out weighed by the bad. Give it till after xmas and see if anyone still plays.

I can only speak from the bit I played but I didnt like it. Too many loading screens, the movie bits seem to go on for ages. At first the fight setup looks good but soon gets repetative - gta this is not. Save your money
