Is there a certain pub you boys meet up in before the match on Sat? If so, where is it?

I was on the PS2 (though I reckon they will all be the same) My opinion still hasnt changed and my mark out of 10 would be 4 (thats with bonus marks for updating the teams when you go online) Please can I make it clear though that this is just my point of view and some people may really enjoy it (as brfcjon above seems to)

I read a quote from John Williams saying that he spoke to Neil before he left for international duty and said they would talk about his future as soon as he came back from the international break. If your friend (who isnt being very profesional) is correct this is true and we havent even sat down with our player yet couldnt this be tapping up in some way? Anyway, havent we already talked this to death in an 8 page Neil thread already?

I would be surprised if he even starts. Crouch and Kuyt seem to be doing ok. Watching Wales match now and he dosent look that great at the moment. Lacking confidence and needs a goal but it better not be against us.

Well I have tried and tried and tried but this game is awful so, when the mrs was on her way round to her sisters this morning I picked FIFA up and said - give that to your nephew. Some may think this act is kind seeing as the game has only been out for a week but I bet the next time he sees me he might just kick me in the nutts for wasting his time

The way I see this is that we did an amazing job last year. The thing thats changed this year is that Neil has gone to left back and Bert to right back. Bert has been doing an amazing job where he is and has been filling the boots of Neil of last season superbly. I was a great supporter of Neil until his big head and mouth got the better of him. Some players leave Ewood with the fans blessing and this wasnt the way to do it. Se thy later judas

Thats the same with all Footman/Champman games though. The first season is all about getting what you can together and staying up. Anything more is a bonus really. (Anyone that wins something in the first year must be cheating in some way as far as I am concerned - that includes those of you that go back to your last save after loosing a game - you know who you are). The way I tend to start making money and getting better players is through getting people in on free's (out of contract) or loaning decent players in. If someone comes in and offers 1m for someone like matteo/gray then you take it. Rovers main problem is that most of our guys we love - Sav/Tuggs/Brad havent got long in the game because of their age - Oh yeah will only get one season in the game really - which maybe a bonus

With regard to the no nonda in the team, I stand corrected. Just been online with it and its updated all the teams with the current players which is nice. Speaking of the online play - its awful - really bad connections on there Not enjoying the game anymore yet

Everyone should remember that I am voicing my opinion on the game here and the next bloke might love the game so I would be interested to see what other people think about it. I will give the online game a go in the week - thats normally how I like to play the games - hopefully I can change my own mind about it
