  1. Maybe a useful player a couple of seasons ago but now another lazy so and so.Also prone to getting sent off to often.Maybe a ripple of applause before the game starts. Whatever happens I'm sure the Murdoch pigsty/sorry press will report a totally version of what actually happened. One of the things Souness did right towards the end of his tenure.
  2. I think we'll know the facts, after all the relevant bodies have concluded their investigations. Can't resist this Den but what world do you live in? It won't be the full truth as it will have been spinned, doctored etc. akin to an earlier edited argument on this thread It seems pretty plain that up to two or three fans were ejected for inappropriate behaviour but 24 hours later some of the media, predominantly the gutter press aka Murdoch owned style, has implicated the rest of the crowd.
  3. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/...burn_Yorke.html Has comments by Karen Brady.
  4. The official site reports that he has a hamstring injury.
  5. I notice how The Sun has sensationalised the story a few hours on from the more balanced Sporting Life piece.
  6. Because Alan, like CLB, SOME OF US OUR GROWING TIRED OF THE ATTITUDE of the likes of Jim et al.
  7. read, understood and admitted you are right **** ... it's even YOUR employers TV station !! are you allowed to contradict ? An exclusive in itself:)
  8. Yes please and a time machine to get me there
  9. The means of his dismissal indicate what an unprofessional board setup we seem to have at the moment. Not only does it seem to be increasingly out of touch with the supporters, it now displays the crass handling of one of the clubs most loyal servants. We're heading back to Division 1 or whatever its called and imho that's the standard of boardroom we have
  10. What about you? Do you have a tattoo too and what subjective opinions does it illicit
  11. Target,KMart and Rivers for me these days. Though I still splash out on Dr Martens shoes. Does the latter label me in some way
  12. As for Bundaberg the less said about that the better
  13. Can't someone in the "underworld" arrange an assassin? No time for scum like that.
  14. Hah Hah good one.. For those not happy with the switch, it is as easy to voice your displeasure to the LET as it is to gripe about it on here.</font> Smithy, are you still curious as to how Jason's love life is going?
  15. Trouble is we could well be anchored in the bottom 3 by then. And who would want to join us knowing that first division football is a likelihood?
  16. If that's what is needed then yes - but remember not every ground had fences and some grounds including ours still have perimeters. What if the fences were so high they impeded an escape in the event of a crush? That's why they had emergency gates - normally at each end and inthe middle areas - but why would they be made so high - and if all things considered they would not be as cramped as they used to be as some grounds now have larger capacity and there would more than likely be a 3-1 ratio in favour of the seats. In addition I am positive that the advance in technology and attitutude towards the treatment of fans would go someway into solving this. However, how does this make any difference to there being a crush in the seating areas and the seats impeding an escape in a supposed similar situation. I can't say that that there has been a crush created by an escape from seats in a hurry. However I've seen plenty of crushes in the old stadia where the crowd to and froed. What would happen in a standing area when you discovered away fans had infiltitrated the area, their team is winning 4-0 and a couple of fans objected to taunts directed their way?
