Harsh red, but not the worst call I have ever seen. Was pointless and petulant Classic Mulgrew for the second
-
It's classic Mowbray, plays players when he shouldn't and doesn't play them when he should. He's not a rational man.
-
Whilst others have come back well drilled, we are back with all the same issues. Bristol worse and that was a false dawn. We think we are better than we are and that's the biggest joke. Need a new manager.
-
Pointless having him around. Absolutely no faith in him to score goals. Anyone who does is deluded
-
Absolutely sick of listening to this guy's excuses. New manager please. Get Roy Keane in before he goes to Azerbaijan. At least he would put expectations on the players. It's a fucking holiday camp with no pressure at the moment.
-
As I said to someone on here a couple of days back, would you literally put any money on Samuel to finish a chance? I wouldn't and last night confirmed why. If Andy Cole needed 10 chances for every goal, Samuel needs 50.
-
A predictable shit show. We always find a way to disappoint.
-
I can't think of 1 example where SG being "more selfish" would have helped the team. Him not being selfish isn't the issue.
-
An early goal is needed for us I feel. Don't want it to turn into a slog. I'm nervous though, because if we don't get a win here, we can pretty much forget about it.
-
Slippery slope. I made a rule of no booze before 9pm for a finish. Boozy work meetings , whilst fun, are not best practice 10 goals would be just swell
-
It will look fantastic if he starts scoring.
-
Have to say, he has looked a different player since coming back. Pity Gallagher hasn't pushed on too. A goal for BB could really get him going I think. Is tonight the night??

It was a horrible game that whilst we can't really have complaints about, we probably didn't deserve to lose. I try not to be too despondent as well, but we are at the stage now where we can't really afford anymore slip ups. -

I was slightly surprised how close they are, but I would certainly take a bet that we will finish ahead of Wigan. -

Wigan are a bogey team for us,but the league table tells the story that we are better overall. -
I would be more surprised if he isn't Mowbray has a unique knack for playing players when he shouldn't and not playing them when he should. Could make a list of examples. Wouldn't surprise me to see more points dropped on Tuesday. Would be like us.

He has had enough game time for me to know that he isn't the answer to whatever question is being asked. The problem with Samuel and Gallagher is I wouldn't trust them to score in a variety of scenarios, one on one with the keeper, a free header, tap in. If you could stop time and allow me to make a bet, I wouldn't back them to put the ball in the net. Would you? I'm happy when I see Graham come on, because I think "if the ball drops to him, he will know what to do" I feel the opposite with Gallagher and Samuel. I wouldn't trust either with the simplest of chances. -
Muddled thinking from Mowbray at a crucial time ,yet again Rothwell had no busines starting that game. Was perfect for Johnson to come in for Evans and help us win the midfield battle. Rothwell is a pointless player in my opinion, especially in a game like that. Actually in any game. He drives me mad. When he ,eventually, brought Armstrong on he put Brereton centre. What in god's name is that about? Put our top scorer in the middle you moron! Bennett left back was somewhat forced, but I don't recall JRC seeming to slow the play down as much every time he got the ball. Travis and Evans are the engine of the team. Without them together we won't make the play offs. Missed opportunity.

I like Evans, but how is one man SO injury prone? I mean breaking his toe last week. Seriously? You have players than can go years without being injured. He can barely go 2 games. Williams and Bell, 2 puddings as well. Injured more than fit. -

Let's be honest here too, Samuel is useless. Did absolutely nothing when he came on apart from somehow missing Armstrong's cross that was on a plate for him. We have some collection of non scoring "strikers". Then the one most likely to score is on the bench. -

Gallagher was especially putrid today though. His first touch makes it look like he's playing with a beach ball. Useless in the air too. Brereton looks vastly improved. What is Mowbray doing to Armstrong? -

Holtby was decent enough, Rothwell did nothing of note. I can't even remember his going past a player. What annoyed me a lot was the lack of urgency from us near the end. All our poor performances have that in it. Wigan couldn't have wished for a easier last 15 min. -

He was caught one on one ,he's 36 and not a defender. Harsh to blame him for it. -

Marshall saved a very similar one to the cross Walton dropped for their first. The difference being Marshall held onto it. Walton is probably a net negative for points at this stage
