  1. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/august/ticket-news-carlisle-united-a/ Anyone going? Only £7.50 if you have a ST but you have to buy by 5pm today.
  2. It wasn't even as bad as the Donny and Dons home games of last season.
  3. If you can't afford a season ticket in League 1 you aren't going to be able to afford one in the Championship. And the casual fan is hardly going to return in a hurry on the back of witnessing Saturday's game. They might have done on the back of the huge turnout for the Oxford game when loads of young lads and lasses turned up. On that note, and in respect of the Notts Forest decision to slash ST prices for their young fans to £100 max, this is what their commercial manager said at the time: “Following consultation with various fan representatives, it also became apparent that making football more accessible for young supporters was crucial. As a result, the club is delighted to offer significant price decreases for 2018/19 Season Cards for fans from the age of four right through to the age of 23" https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/nottingham-forest-reveal-new-season-1262904 They aren't the only club to have done it either. If only our commercial manager or Waggott weren't so out of touch.
  4. https://www.newsatden.co.uk/68422-millwall-boss-responds-to-boro-bids-for-duo.html Neil Harris isn't a big fan of the changes to the transfer window.
  5. You had dogs in the stadium?
  6. We're doooooomed!
  7. You'd have no idea whether we are going to finish bottom 6 or not then based on a performance you didn't see,
  8. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16413407.blackburn-rovers-0-millwall-0-player-ratings/?ref=mac Bennet got MotM in the LT. A fair shout in that type of match, he did the hard yards so others don't have to. He's very underrated by the cognoscenti on here? Personally I'd have gone for Lenihan.
  9. Dack doing his initiation when he signed for Rovers.
  10. Wickham's a talented lad and has a similar style to Gallagher. Mogga obviously wants a big pacey target man. If he's over his injuries he would be a good signing IMO.
  11. He once took the skin off it.
  12. Hope he's ok. He left to the strains of 'I Am The Resurrection' so hopefully a good sign.
  13. What happened at HT right at the back of the stand? I saw someone being carried out on a stretcher with a load of police and stewards in attendance.
  14. Venky's must have put some more money in the kitty overnight. #11oclocker
  15. They doubled up on him at the end of the 1st half and when he came back out he was playing more central. I presume that was a tactical change by Mowbray? On RL after the game he said Dack and Palmer were like a circus act in training the way they interact with the ball. He meant it as a compliment. They certainly seemed to look to pass to each other. We have two quality players there if Dack can lose two stone quite quickly! In the post-match stuff Mogga commented on Rothwell and Palmer said that if players don't run they'll be sat on the bench. Maybe that's why Palmer came off but I thought we missed his presence when he left the pitch.
  16. Palmer was the reason we got back in the game, he was the only one getting us up the pitch and in their half in the opening 45 minutes. Harris ended up putting two on him in the end because he was getting passed their left-back at will and eventually one of his crossed would have connected.
  17. Did you go on yesterday?
  18. So you do think we'll be fighting relegation?
  19. Noticeable they've put the away fans on the other side of the DE from the 'new' singing section in the JWL.

  21. LOL, Nixon has some brass neck. He just makes it up as he goes along. As you say, the frustration was real and is evident from the manager too. A couple of clowns coming on here and telling everyone to stop being 'negative' is shown up be the idiocy it always was.
  22. Agreed, he looked a bit lost when he came on. A year in League 1 or 2 would do him the world of good.
  23. I think people have short memories if they think todays performance was any different to a lot of home games from last season. W started slowly like we mostly always do at home under Mowbray and then we grew into the game. Millwall were hanging on for most of the 2nd half, even if our final ball did let us down on nearly every occasion. Impressed with Palmer, he just always had time and if they got too close to him he left them for dead. His final ball was poor at times but I think a lot of that was to do with lack of movement ahead of him. A class act. Him and Dack had a good understanding but i'm not sure of the merit of 5 yard training passes and showboating when your 0-0 at home. Rothwell looks a player too. That run and shot deserved a goal. Dack looks overweight. He'll be clinically obese within a month of retiring. Olivia beware! He tried but it didn't really happen for him. He'll get better as the season goes on. We lack a central midfielder who can pass it better than Smallwood and so Dack kept having to come deep to get involved. Mowbray was bollocking Raya most of the 1st half. I think he gave up after Raya hoiked it out of play for the 12th time. Lenny was immense. Mulgrew looked a bit dodgy at times. Nyambe was quiet but never troubled. Same with Bell, I thought he was fairly average. Evans I thought played well. Always harrying the oppo and playing some intelligent balls. Smallwood didn't do a lot. His lack of mobility really hampers him. Graham was poor. Two gilt-edged chances he should have done a lot better with. On the plus side I thought he looked a bit quicker than last year. Millwall were physical and quick and worked hard but I thought we had the better players, which is a good sign considering Millwall finished 9th last season and should have beat Boro last week by all accounts. Their keeper was brilliant. Any other game and we would have scored three. Hopefully the person who was carried out of their end on a stretcher at HT is ok. All in all very encouraging after we woke up. We controlled the game 2nd half and were always pushing forward. The lack of guile was evident again like it was last season but hopefully Palmer will help with that. There's not a lot to fear in this league if mid-table is our ambition.
  24. It's the only approach we have left. We'll see how many loan deals we get and if any have the option of an agreed fee at the end.
  25. Yep, still nothing. See ya.
