  1. Have you got a link or name of the forum?
  2. http://www.itsroundanditswhite.co.uk/articles/the-impressive-rise-of-blackburn-rovers-midfielder-bradley-dack Some of his goals for Gillingham were superb. Credit to Mowbray for taking the plunge. He must be worth £5m+ now.
  3. I heart Harry so I hope this is true. He's worth the admission fee on his own. A rare talent.
  4. A bit like Graham.. Oh, hang on....
  5. Looking forward to see who we recruit this summer. It's fair to say that Mowbray has struggled to some extent in the transfer market. Take out Dack and Smallwood and his recruitment of players on permanent contracts has been distinctly average. Hopefully the new scouting system pays dividends.
  6. see Peter Whittingham. No thanks. We need more Dacks - young players with ambition who will grow in value.
  7. You said all this stuff last summer...you were wrong then...
  8. Is this from the same source that said we were signing Paul Gallagher and a winger from Liverpool?
  9. It's apparently going to be called Self Arms because Dyche started doing it when Everton turned him down and he realised he had to spend another year pretending to enjoy working at the god-forsaken cesspit that is t'Turd.
  10. it's more than Coleman did.
  11. It's not pretty. It's like looking in those mirrors you get at funfairs that make you go a funny shape.
  12. I scare myself at times I've heard good things about Red Rum. Keep it to yourself...
  13. You're welcome. And to take it back to the actual discussion, your assertion that 'Mahoney would have played' is not borne out by the fact he played strikers on the wing. He chose to play strikers on the wing, even when he had wingers to choose from (Chapman, Conway. Mahoney last season). Your assertion was not correct based on the evidence. Try to keep up.
  14. I never offered an opinion on it. I'm just pointing out what Mowbray did.
  15. Thats what Mowbray did. He signed them on loan and played them on the wings. It's worked out ok for him.
  16. If they score as many as Armstrong and Antonnson then yes. Obvious really.
  17. He's said many times he likes forwards on the wing so your assertion is incorrect. 'Wide-forwards' was the term he used, like Samuel and Armstrong this season and Gally last.
  18. Meyler was a good player but he must be knocking on now. Pack & Dack has a ring to it.
  19. We still have quite a few players left who performed well at the back end of the last Championship season. Nyambe is one of them. He's just going back to where he started, but probably as a better player. We just need a to add a few bits of quality here and there this summer. We already have the basis of a decent Championship team. To quote Partridge we need 'Evolution, not revolution. I want to Evolve, not revolve'
  20. I'm not sure what the T&C's are for moving fans out of the DE. When I was in the DE a few years ago I'm sure it stipulated they could only move people to accommodate a large away contingent a few times a season. Maybe 4 or 5? I may be misremembering but if it's true they could easily move the away fans upstairs in the DE for the season, fill the bottom tier up with home fans and for big followings shove the DE home fans into the BBE Upper and the JW. I can't remember more than 3 or 4 followings a season that have filled the whole DE in the Championship, if that. Are Derby, Forest etc really going to fill the DE unless they are chasing promotion? Obviously the home fan pricing will have to be right. If it isn't then Waggott and Co haven't done their job.
  21. I'm still hopeful they'll put some serious offers on to entice a few thousand back. I hope the cheap Under 24 tickets that other clubs are doing is repeated here. There will be a lot of interest in the club over the next few months. Now is the time to get bums on seats and make the atmosphere at Ewood better.
  22. @#/? love Benno. Proper welling up watching what it means to him. I'm ashamed I may break down sobbing at the Oxford game
  23. Agree with that. I think the vast majority of the first team will provide the bulk of next years match day squad. I don't see wholesale changes, but do think our bench looked weak at times this seaon when injuries and suspensions hit. Competition at RB & CB, a new CM, a new wide man or two (Chapman, Armstrong), and competition for Dack & Graham. 6 or 7 in, the deadwood being shipped out and the likes of Travis being given his chance.
  24. Are we going anywhere nice?
