  1. Attendance: 6,164 (Rovers 1,058) Read more at: https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/posh/match-comment-blackburn-defeat-highlights-peterborough-united-s-areas-of-concern-1-8284200 A very impressive following a couple of weeks before Christmas.
  2. In a World Cup season too.
  3. According to the Ch5 highlights programme we last won 5 in a row 17 years ago under Souness.
  4. Was 79-80 the year we also went on the cup run against the likes of Cov and Villa? Think we had close to 30k on for the latter. How did Tomlinson play?
  5. Agreed. The goals yesterday were essentially two counter-attacking goals (executed brilliantly) and a corner. Dack is brilliant at exploiting the gaps that appear when the opposition try to attack us, but it's a lot more difficult for him at home when the oppo line up with 8 on the edge of their own box. Hence why Chapman will be such a big miss at Ewood. Still, we have a lot of the top half teams to play at Ewood so maybe they will attack more and leave gaps for us to exploit (a bit like Pompey did). If we do go up then we may be better suited to the Championship where we won't be favourites every week and most team will come to Ewood with better squads and try to out-play us. Our counter-attacking style may be of great benefit then, both home and away. We'd need a better defence though.
  6. He missed loads of them earlier in the season. Dreadful header of a ball for the most part.
  7. Bought him in the summer
  8. I think Charlie's was an exact replica of another back post tap in he had recently from a Dack corner. Was it Blackpool? Dacks 2nd was a class finish, he doesn't mess about.... Shearer-esque
  9. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11164236/peterborough-2-3-blackburn 2nd and 3rd goals are terrific. Smallwood superb for the 2nd.
  10. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/15712365._We_are_asking_questions_of_the_opposition____Tony_Mowbray_reacts_to_Rovers__win_at_Peterborough_United/?ref=mac Mowbray reported that Peter Whittingham suffered a calf injury which was behind his first half substitution, while Corry Evans, substituted at the break, sustained a gash to the knee which required stitches. Both are expected to miss Tuesday night's FA Cup replay at Crewe. Good chance for Tomlinson or Hardcastle to come in against Crewe.
  11. Last 4 away games - Won 4 - Scored 14. Quite remarkable
  12. You can tell he's a cut above this league just by the speed of thought/passing and the way he moves (calm yourself Adam). He's involved in nearly every goal, either scoring them or setting them up. He's only just hit his stride in the last month or so too. I think Assombalonga once went from this league (P'boro) to Forest for £8m. Dack was a steal at £750k.
  13. don't be bitter, try and enjoy the win
  14. There will be some moaners when he gets them home. Love machine. Just ask @AdamRochina
  15. TFFT!!!! 2pts per game finally reached!!
  16. I fecking hate posts that give no clue as to what has happened and to what team. just saying
