  1. This chap plays for them. Wondered what happened to him. Charlie might get a hattrick from the spot today:-
  2. From the LT:- Big test for the Rovers full-backs today against Edwards and Maddison. I'm officially worried if they have good wingers
  3. Rovers subs today: Jayson Leutwiler, Paul Caddis, Elliott Ward, Willem Tomlinson, Corry Evans, Danny Graham, Joe Nuttall Good to see Tomlinson on the bench, even if it's only because Harper is suspended.
  4. You're like a cr@p Beetlejuce from the LT, always trying to control the agenda
  5. Tough one to call this. In their last 6 home games Posh have beaten Shrewsbury, Wigan and Pompey but lost to Gillingham, Oxford and Blackpool. Maybe they only turn it on for the 'bigger' games. Obviously got some decent players (Maddison is one that has been talked about as being destined for bigger things). Could be a tough game. 1-1
  6. I'm expecting something similar to this from Mowbray's Maulers tomorrow. Dogs of War.
  7. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/15708451.Craig_Conway_to_provide_Tony_Mowbray_with_timely_return_as_Rovers_hit_by_Elliott_Bennett_suspension/?ref=mac Conway has trained for 10 days so it would seem he's been held back a bit. Mowbray seems to think he's ready:- “We have to manage it (his return) so let’s hope it’s well timed. Tough away games Bennett and Conway have probably been my preferred choice but we have seen that (Marcus) Antonsson can score goals and had a real goal threat for the team. Bennett has been a key part of how we’ve been playing so that is a loss, but Craig has similar attributes" I'd go for:- Raya Nyambe, Downing, Mulgrew, Williams Conway, Smallwood, Evans, Antonsson Dack Samuel
  8. Don't think Mowbray will be averse to playing Samuel out wide, he did the same to great effect with Gallagher at Brentford last season. Obviously this could leave the full back exposed so rather have Nyambe there than the far less mobile Caddis.
  9. https://www.crewealex.net/news/2017/december/blackburn-fa-cup-preview--ways-to-follow-the-game/ 'Overseas-based fans will not be able to watch the game live as FA Cup games are not part of the streamable package, but audio commentary WILL be available' I presume it's the same for Rovers fans. Google is your friend and all that.
  10. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2017/november/hardcastle-signs-new-deal/ Is this lad any good @Parsonblue and the others who watch the U23's? I saw him on the box playing for Salford in the FA Cup a season or two ago and he looked decent. He must be progressing if he's got a new contract.
  11. How very dare you. Vinjay didn't like football in 80's.
  12. Joe Nuttall Whooaa Joe Nuttall Whoaaa He came from Aberdeen He's a Rovers goal machine.
  13. He also supported Liverpool in the 80's and then became a regular at Old Trafford halfway through the 1998/99 season. Today he supports Man City.
  14. Yes, both times you've used. Repeat Offender.
  15. 3 of the finest records ever made. The 25th Anniversary editions of Murmur and Reckoning both have an extra live CD of concerts from around that time. Both excellent.
  16. 4-1 I think against the youth team of one of the richest clubs in the world. Not great but not the end of the world for a 3rd division club with a debt of £100m+
  17. She once posted about you droning on about the Walker Trust.
  18. A 'front foot' old-school manager who is brave enough to have a go. If Venky's ever find one of them we will have a chance.
  19. Where are the clips? I tried looking but nowt. Can you post them on here? Cheers
