  1. Mostly about grooming in Rotherham, which had no relevance to the video of a young white lad making racist remarks to an Asian taxi driver and trying to punch him.
  2. That was just the tranquilisers kicking in. When you stop obssessing over Ryan we can decrease your dose.
  3. I read a few last night. A local paper shouldn't be a platform for the neighbourhood racists. Is Witton Park a known meeting place for the Klan?
  4. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/15483871.Brave_cab_driver_holds_off_racist_attackers_in_public_park/?ref=ar A delightful young man.
  5. Ryan said to tell you that although he likes you as a friend he doesn't want to take it any further and could you please stop bothering him.
  6. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2017/august/rovers-celebrates-global-fan-base-with-ifollowefl/ A competition for the overseas Roverites. Unfortunately a match ticket is included.
  7. Dear me. You're still continuing with this nonsense. I wasn't aware, like you, that the commentary on RR provided an essential service to some disabled people. Now I am aware I find it utterly disgusting that they have sold these people season tickets and then took away the one thing that actually helped them enjoy and understand what was going on. The fact that you think that is 'simply moaning for the sake of moaning' says a lot about you, and nothing about the people doing it.
  8. Not only back on the road but playing extra venues due to overwhelming demand. I may be falling in love with LInz. If she's reading this, this was me outside the club shop on Saturday:- I was just hanging around, catching some rays before the game. I had a bit of a crick in my neck so don't worry about my awkward posture. Anyway, thanks for another good 'cast'. I'm looking forward to No 83 'Dack sinks Dingles'
  9. I would have agreed with you last week, and I said similar earlier in this thread. Saturday has crushed me If I saw us humiliated by that lot I think I'd give it up for good. The losing doesn't bother me, it's having to watch a team of surrender-monkeys managed by a delusional Pep wannabe that really grates.
  10. Indeed. And there were a lot of Rovers fans there on Saturday who might have been testing the water before taking the plunge with a season-ticket. They won't be now and who can blame then.
  11. A very ignorant and troll-like comment. Very unbecoming. I've been there all the way through our demise. It has cost me a lot of money in Season Tickets and travel. If I choose not to pay an extra £18 + travel to watch a delusional and incompetent manager's team, when i'll have to suffer it for another 22 games anyway, then that's my prerogative (as Bobby Brown once said).
  12. Mowbray and his players don't deserve the support based on the first two league games of the season.
  13. After proclaiming this game bigger than Jesus (and The Beatles) and giving it the big call to arms, I don't think I can actually be arsed if the team are as gutless as yesterday.
  14. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/15469646.Radio_Rovers_won_t_be_broadcasting_on_home_matchdays_this_season__club_announces/?ref=mac
  15. So, because fans were not aware beforehand that others relied on it you feel those complaints aren't valid, or in some way illegitimate. What a truly bizarre viewpoint. As for the club, I'm pretty sure that they are aware of the value RR brings to visually impaired people's lives without using it as a trailer to advertise their radio station. Again, that's irrelevant to the fact some disadvantaged fans may now rely on it. I understand your point in general, and I'm sure it's exactly the same one that the accountants would use. I'd like to think, however, that as a football club we are a bit better than putting a percentage of turnover before the enjoyment of a few seriously disadvantaged people who will have supported that club for a lot longer than the owners and accountants have been there, and will continue to support it long after the gutless b'stards have departed. Never has 'knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing' been more apposite.
  16. I think a few that have responded to this thread are unhappy because it appears a vital service has been taken away from some fans on the eve of the season without an adequate replacement being found. I'm not sure anyone is going to miss it for it's award winning broadcast journalism. I'm surprised you didn't 'get this' from the thread.
  17. A Rovers fan blaming another Rovers fan for Rovers demise. Venky's must be sat at home crying with laughter. Unfortunately this will be lost on the Rovers fan who blames other fans for our demise.
  18. I don't know much about any of this so don't want to pre-judge BUT... I can handle us selling players, and even the relegations, but it's this shyte that really puts me off the club. Mowbray was talking the other day about how pre-season was organised like a pre-season at a Prem Club, a no expense spared training camp etc, yet when it comes to things that the fans really value, like a bit of commentary for visually impaired fans, money suddenly becomes an issue. If true it's disgusting. Those fans deserve a lot more respect than that.
