  1. I'm expecting live updates on the match thread from you and everyone else on this thread
  2. Preston North End: Maxwell, Fisher, Huntington, Spurr, Cunningham, Pearson, Barkhuizen, Browne, Johnson, Robinson, Sean Maguire. Subs: Rudd, Vermijl, Horgan, Hugill, Gallagher, Davies, May. Sheffield Wednesday: Westwood, Hunt, Lees, Loovens, Pudil, Boyd, Hutchinson, Bannan, Reach, Forestieri, Rhodes. Subs: Jones, Fox, Fletcher, Hooper, Nuhiu, Wildsmith, Wallace Rhodes v Spurr. Come on Jordan lad, smash the Nobbers!
  3. Talented lad. Always looked good when he came to Ewood. Son of Frankie I think. Bury are going for it. He's got nothing to do with Championship mind
  4. Gary Aspden brought out a Spezial range last year I think. He names a few after the area. His Adidas Hynburn were nice trainers. Me too. We should start a thread. 'Match Day Clobber'. It's all a bit 'real ale' and 'techy' round these parts. We need a thread for the fashion-forward, young and beautiful people
  5. It's not off-topic. Here's the article linked in the other. My mate used to go on about the Paninari and that PSB song. Never heard it until now. An interesting bag of shyte. http://www.anothermag.com/fashion-beauty/9297/paninari-the-italian-originators-of-fast-food-in-fashion
  6. https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2017/aug/03/it-requires-a-certain-confidence-to-pull-it-off-why-i-love-stone-island Stone Island goes haute couture. Blackburn gets a mention. I prefer a nice pair of action slacks and a Regatta jacket myself. Terrace legend.
  7. I know. I disagree with you there too. More importantly it really was a good listen, so thanks to all of you who put the time and effort in to do it. Hope there's more to come as the season unfolds.
  8. Love the title too. B Kackpool is a good description of our neighbours
  9. Mikey Delap seems to think B'mouth U'23's is a higher level than League 1. B'mouth U'23's in a step down from Rovers U'23's. Strange comments from someone who wants to round people up who he doesn't agree with so he can 'identify them better'. Dear me. It got a lot better after that.... Agree Bury have signed some good players, doubts about Lee Clarke as a manager Great work from Linz Lewis, hopefully Dunny gets involved. She knows her football too. She should be a regular Saviola or Xavi Very enjoyable listen all round. Thanks.
  10. Blast from the past Jay McEveley has signed for Tranmere. http://www.kentlive.news/ex-charlton-gillingham-blackburn-and-sheffield-utd-man-lands-another-club-in-tranmere-rovers/story-30459147-detail/story.html
  11. http://www.mfc.co.uk/news/mfc-clarifying-transfer-facts Re the Boro story they said it wasn't about the Assombolonga transfer fee quoted by the Gazette which was a whole £1m out (£15m not £14m). There must be some serious beef if it's getting that petty.
  12. Spooky. That was the order I would have suggested.

  14. The thing to do, meadows, is contribute more. Then perhaps other will contribute more. It's a good forum that needs new voices to drown out the nonsense.
  15. 'We'? I wasn't trying to do anything. You wrote what you wrote, not me. I just parodied your viewpoint. Please don't hurt me.
  16. Imagine that, religious beliefs that seem weird to people who don't follow that religion. Must dash, off to turn some water into wine and then witness a virgin birth. Never again ask why Steve Kean behaved like he did.
  17. that's certainly what the experts were suggesting last night on the beeb highlights show
  18. Wharton and Platt are untested at this level. Mulgrew and Ward are crocks. That just leaves Lenihan who can be relied on to last the whole season, and he is one of the few in the squad who could walk into a Championship side and could therefore be quite conceivably sold before the end of August.
