It's the first game of the season, Reading lost 2-1 at home to Plymouth on the first game of the season last season and we know what happened next. I remember people after the first game of last season saying we were unable to play 442. We'll put up a better performance on Wednesday for sure which should be enough to take at least a point from the game

maybe Huth just needs games? Cant be good for him knowing that when he plays in the one off game for Chelsea, that no matter how well he plays, there is no chance he'll be playing the next game. Dont want to spoil everyones party about this result - but Alemannia Aachen site was saying that they had 8 players out injured for this game. Although how many of them were 1st teamers i dont know and we seemed to have 3 players out injured too in Todd,Emerton and Nelsen.
