I'd rather have a good run in the Uefa Cup than finish in the top half. I'd take 11th and getting to the Q/F of the Uefa. Boro's season last season seemed great to me, as long as we finish slightly higher in the league than they did.

Neill was our best outfield player today according to BBC. Had we scored our pen(from a McCarthy dive), im sure Brad wouldn't have had to make those two saves.

He'll be out for most of the season is my bet. If reports are correct that he'll be fit to play in 4 months, it will take weeks after that to get back to match fitness.

Reason why Wigan let him go it seems was because as the season went on, he lost a yard of pace and became very clumsy. Only cover though i guess and only likely to play in the early rounds of FA and Carling Cup if we play lower league sides.

I dont think it's that easy actually, going to Russia, Croatia and maybe Israel is going to be hard. They wont make it easy for us, i mean if we only just beat Macadonia............

Well we were on Eurosport for our second leg against that Turkish side last time. Also, i seem to remember sky1 (yes, sky1, not skysports1) doing a couple of Uefa Cup games last season although that may have been for the later rounds. Bravo dont usually do Uefa Cup games so i doubt we'll be on there either Oh well, i guess it means that it'll be a bigger gate at Ewood then.
