however in order for him to drop down a level we might of had to offer him a longer deal
-
just the type of player we need as for signing for four yeras, its good that we have good players which should stay abd help the club become stable

sad new indeed. As a mental health worker, I know that people will do anything to try to hide a mental health illness. It will only be when we as a society state that its ok to talk about it and to accept it. The number of times that I have heard people say aweful names to people suffering from mental health issuies is too many to count.nn Also it can be a hard illness to point, people can live normal lives on the outside, but there innner lives is something else. Lancashire have cut back there mental health service by up to 65%, most of my clinets have ben told that there will have to cope on thier own. NO wonder that sometimems people see no way out. RIP Mr Speed

[Archived] Mark Hughes - Good Choice ?

i think he will do a very good job at city -
I think that MH is a very g00d manager, but there all come to the end of the shelf life. Is it time fir MH to go, I think not, but this jan is a big time for him, players need to be changed around some need to go to get mnoey to re buy, for most top teams is knowing when to let players go and to re-buy new ones the time has come.
-
there are not looking to sugn any big names, so that must mean that there think benni is a small name in footballing terms stay where you are pal
-
in this case its dowm to the club, if the player leaves, everyone has there price and no doublt MH has a price for him, however its down to blackburn rovers this time, so MH will do want is best for the club, and to date he has done a very very good job, so relax fellow members have a great summer and leave it in MH hands
-
if we sign him, mark my words, he will be a very good forward player
-
for the money that we paid for him a good player for a great price
-
wait a bit, he has not moved yet. MH has stated that the money for him is too low and he might play for us on sat-day

well nice one rovers someone who can be our long time play maker, just as to get fit and stay fit -
can we please stick to the theme as for nonda I think that we should sign him, if the fee is ok

in order for the club of our limited money, one or two of the youth side of the club as to develop into first team players, of which todate most of them have not. however we must take the season as a whole, and we have been a mixed team todate. At time we are good at time very bad. The outcome of this is that while I do not think we will go down we will be in the botton end of the table. That could change if we spend well in jan. However so far. most of the spending is done at the start of the season, so heres hoping that, that is not the case.

good to get a point, you can always tell a side strengh by theirs subs and theres were a lot stronger then ours. why is mgp picked I though he had a bad game, and the goal came about due to his wild kick at goal which went for a throw in. it was a pen, contact was made but a red card never, and if there had a pen for that, then it was a pen for the hand ball. our forwards have to learn to hold the ball up, something that we lack at the momement.
-
the problem that we had against man utd is that if any teams mid field is so much better then the other teams, that puts pressure both on the defence, and the attack. man utds mid field was better then ours. good players make space for themsevles, and they mid field players had time where ours did not, expect tugs. hence we had no chance our defence were under pressure and the attack were toothless due to the lack of mid field input. the answer, we need mid field players who can both battle and play, yes we have players who can either battle or play but not both. these players cost a lot but they are out there we just have to find them and spend the money wisey one player we missed went to aston villa now he is a good midfield shame we missed him.
-
it was never a pen, however rovers to me did lack a bit of bite in the middle of the park, and while I do unsderstand that if MH could find the right player at the right price, then he was right in not buying yet. However the key word is yet. Come Jan we will need another midfield player and cover for both full backs. mean while we can but keep on going and just battle through this. Look at West Ham and how in two games there whole season now looks different, and with two wins in a row the same can happen to us.

[Archived] Rovers Forget How To Defend Corner
des replied to kevinyip's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
for me you should always have a player on each post. Also its important to attack the ball at set plays and corners, some thing that rovers do not always do, and to end with even if you cannot get the ball you put pressure on the attacking players at all times. As for sunday well if gray is our cover for full backs, we are lost, in the past I have stated that he is not a bad players, however is legs have gone as is his pace and for a full back that is time to call it a day. For there first goal Zurab went to win a high ball half way up the pitch did not make good contact and we are one down. second half far better but all puff and not much outcome, so roll on thurday -
just to put this into context, looking at this season I was hoping to go to a number of games, however my firm has just given us our pay rise of 1.95% and thats take it or leave. Has this is some what lower them we all throught it would be, cuts backs will have to be made and therefore on my list rovers has gone dowm a bit further. Now I do not want people to feel sorryfor me/us, its ok we will cope, but its just that fans should know that even at lower prices, its sometimes hard to find the money. So before people saying giving people stick for not going, just think about your comments first and before anyelse states that I should get a better education and earn more I do have a BA hon 2.1. so roll on sunday and lets win
