well to date is been a poor show all around from the player both on and off the pitch. my brother in law as worked away for about 8 years and only see his family at the weekend, yes its hard, but he gores why the work is it is about time that players started to live ibn the real world. There are very welled paid and as such should shut up, fufill their contract and do there best. fans get stick for not going to games etc but what about the players its all take, take, take. roll on feb ans we can all get back to the football

i am always shocked when fans have a go at other fans for not going to games due to the cost, but give players a big well done when they put little back compared to the money that theu are given. when fans say enough is enough them clubs might stop paying players such a daft wage. for some people on low wages 24 pounds is a lot of money to pay to go and see a game, why can not clubs give somethings back to the fans from time to time and drop the prices so that averages fans can go once in a while

duuue to the fact that I work at the weekends and the cost of going, I do not get to go to watch much matches lives, the ones that I look forward to are the so called lesser games ie leadgew cup FA cup replays which are/should be lower. we lacked a bit of spark, the pace of the match was also down compared to our last game. To break dowm teams you need a center half who can both defend and feel at ease ob the ball, at the monment we do not have one. Our full backs must learn that they final pass is not up tp the mark and our center halfs are not much better. Time and time again thre final ball was poor is not very poor. The forwards can only play with either the ball at their feet or play along the floor into space, so why do we play the long high ball from the back ? could it be that, thats the only pass that they can make. all in all roll on the next matchm the good thing is that evryone near us also lost

a good game, a good display from the players, and a great result, the only down side is at 9.30pm I am off to work

I was watching it on sky, and I thougth that yorkie and bruce did not help the situation, what the fans did was wrong and out of order and he should be banned untill his attidues changes ( banning peopole for life means that if they do change they is still no way back ) however like all stories like this most of the fans get the mud thrown at them as well. with all the PR about this story it does not help our area

Its a game that both teams need to win and both can not afford to lose, so its a draw then

come on message board members lets have a big breath of air and start again for players for me there are judged over a whole season and a manger over two. the team that MH has is not too hot, its cannot defend nor can it score, however for the first 37 mim of the last game they were playing quite well Nevertheless to changes things in the long term it does take time, we have to fight and pick up points until jan and then see who we can buy. There is one more important factor, I do hope that we do not buy players for the sake of buying them, if the right players are not there lets wait still next season, the mnoey we have can only be spent once.

I think that we need to play a 3-5-2 and pack the midfield we cannot defend, so stop the other side from playing and then attack yourself. Mark H does need time, but do we have it, I think not

first og all folks let not start blaming the manager, he told them at hafk time that it was all about defending and what happens they do not do it. as for not playing new players, it is a good idea to let them play some second teams games first, so that they can get to know the club and the systems that the team play. No is down to the players and only them, they have to learn to defend and not to give up after the other team scores. football is about team work and pride, with a lot more we can do a lot better without it we are in the ---------

just got back from holiday atchefd the highluights on sky just to say MH was right in playing the players he did, he needs to know how bad there are

its a good move by the club, he as the right back ground and image for the club and will go on to be a very good manager indeed

the players thsat we have are not too bad , but the team work anf formatt are is down to gettingt he best out of them something that has not happened in the past 18 months or so, role on the new man or (women)

who ever we get there need to be a good coach, the two that come to mind are dowie and hoddle, I would like dowie, but it could be hoddle, both are good coaches and will get the best out of the players. I know tjat some fans do not like hoddle, due to his past comments, however people can change and its the football side we are after.

I feel let dowm by him. he has spent all of the clubs mnoey then leaves at the frist chance, the club now is in a right mess and it needs to be sorted out, the board and most of he fans backed GS shame he could not do the same. what would he do if a player did want he has just done, its ok being hard, but what you expect from players you have to expect from yourself, it looks like GS baxck up the dont do what I do do what a say saying. a sad day all round

if the midfield can do there job and act as link between the defence and attack them I think that we will do quite well, the problem is that we are players who can defend or attack but not both and mid field is aplace where players have to do both and man utd have players who can do that. Once agin I think we should play a 3-5-2 and give it a go, but we will likley play a 4-4-2 and a draw would do me, byt a win would be wonderful

a couple of points first half we were good and on a par with them second half bad start and good bye the poor defeneding has to stop you can not gave away bad or soft goals if you do over time you will go down. we need to keep the ball, a know its boring, but the ball should be kept and not given away by long balls The running off the ball by our players is not good and at best average, that is why when the back four get the ball sometimes there are not a lot of options and hence the long ball. The downside to this is that the ball comes stright back. Answer play it side ways or backwards and start again You need to play to the players strong points and at times we do not do this. All in Alll a not too good start, but hopfully things will get better

watched the match at heys inn good first half, but the second half was bad if not very bad people have been saying we needed another forward, I think not, we need a very good center half who can lead the defence. first goal center halfs facing the wrong way, no one near the forward, no one tried to make it hard for him to score. second goal once again two players on the box and no one marking them third goal a bad back pass and its good night Yes we play a very good side tonight and the first half was good, but you cannot gave away soft/bad goals and it has to stop, and quick second hald stead goes off yorkie comes on and we play long high balls. why? I do not mind the long ball game but you have to have players who are good in the air and we do have thren in paul D and Yorkie, and as such the ball kept on being given away. not a wise thing to do against any team should GS go, at the monment I am in the do not know camp, todate I have always defended him, but the midfield was poor today, and that is any team is the heart beat of it. for me he should play a 3-5-1-1 away from home and a 3-5-2 at home this means that the team can attack and defend in numbers, but the right players haave to play in the correct postions well lets see what happens on saterday
