Could you clarify for me -not the best at finances. 1 Is the 150m increasing at all year on year? 2 I get that they will have to eventually write off that loan, I get that you say they won't want to do it all at once. Could you explain how we see that they are 'winding it down'? 3. What could precipitate them writing it down? Could they just keep this going indefinitely?

MP, given that you are clearly very knowledgeable in these matters: 1 Why are they (the Raos, one or all) still here (presuming the club is theirs to sell) given that they appear to have no interest. 2 Under what circumstances would the Raos sell? Do you have any potential figures here? 3 Do you believe that the continued ownership by the Raos is a help or a hindrance to the progress of Blackburn Rovers? This is presuming that they are in control and not some puppet of other agencies.

So that's 3 conditions. There may well be people out their with the will (so one condition perhaps satisfied) but once the Raos slap a huge (unreasonable) figure on the asking price and do not want to sell then seems we are stuck with them.

Agreed. Up to when they scored on 26 minutes they could have had 3. After their goal the body language of our players as they walked back to the half way for kick off looked resigned -staring straight ahead, no chat (only MacLaughlin at the back trying a little encouragement). They knew they were getting totally outplayed. I think what really saved us was the eqaliser just 2 minutes later -the players themselves could hardly believe it. From then on, they had some belief, began to play and the game was more evenly contested.

Minds made up I guess 🙂 And it’s tiring trying to debunk the same old tropes over and over (but it has to be done civilly). So in short, Gooze and Tricky think the boycott was fruitless. Fine. And they plus a variety of voices will continue to peddle the same track. And then there are those who think the boycotts, at the very least have raised awareness of Rao’s disastrous 15 year tenure and will continue to try and shift the narrative to open the eyes of fans, many of whom are oblivious to the continuing ineptitude of the hierarchy at this club. At best, the protests (as they evolve) may succeed in ridding us of the owners. And perhaps the protests in the long run fail, apathy reins, snouts remain in the trough and the circus continues for another decade and a half. Perhaps, just enough don’t care so long as they can watch a game of footy even if it is in a crumbling stadium with a couple of thousand fans.

In all seriousness though. Tricky and Goozeburger, the last time I seem to remember you on here was during the summer extolling the virtues of the transfer window and how exciting all the new incomings were and how good it was to get rid of the old guard. (How is that going –don’t tell me, we have to wait for the transition to play out at least until the end of the season.) Now you turn up after a protest essentially suggesting that protesting will achieve little for a variety of reasons. It may be that you are correct. But unless you provide alternatives for ridding us of the Rao’s (which you appear to agree with) then surely your posts are not constructive.

Just as an aside but has anyone else noticed our half time routine? All season, the opposition subs + trainer come out very early and go through drills/routines. Nothing on our side. Then eventually a few of our subs come out and half-heartedly knock a few balls to each other.

Disagree totally. The tactics first half were woeful and it should have been out of sight for them withing 30 mins. They showed us how to play -the ball up to their centre forward and his good touch to bring in others was way beyond us. Still, one corner, one goal from Miller and it was game on. Footy eh? (Let's not get into the miss from the best move of the game where their lad shot into row zz+ in the Blackburn end 😉 )

Just nonsense. Because the numpties in charge decimated the team it means that the dross left on the pitch (that constantly changes) can do very little to provide so that Yuki is worked to death with no assistance beside him and forced to chase crap into the channels from MacLaughlin (that's if it doesn't go straight into touch). Not saying he is a world beater by any means (and never was) but given the quality of the squad is considerably weaker this season so he is struggling too - if he wasn't so a abused as a workhorse and could do his work in the box he would get more -though as I say would still never be top drawer. Take him out and replace with Gud would be interesting.
