  1. I've added to my orginal post. I was trying (badly I think) to show that this site has been going for over 25 years or so (and more in different incarnation) and so the stuff from Snyder above is pathetic.
  2. Was Lee Grooby just AI? 😉 The Synder post really is drivel.
  3. Running scared (I don't mean you or the site just to be clear) 🙂
  4. Indeed. Like every PR statement from the club?
  5. Who said that? I just thought it was just an interesting proposition and it will be fun to see if it plays out or not.
  6. TBF, experience of 15 years can do that to a person. But footy is footy so who knows what will happen.
  7. Yep, that pesky weather, although embarrassing to Heads of, created a nice scapegoat for January.
  8. Cantwell -46 league games and 3 in cup. Conspiracy alive 🙂 5 home games until the end of January.
  9. 5 home games over the next 6 weeks or so. Let's hope that the 'freak' weather which is special to Blackburn Rovers according to the hierarchy doesn't cause any more abandoned games.
  10. This time last year played 19, 34 points, 5th place This time this year played 19, 22 points, 20th place. Not seeing an improvement despite all this supposed spending and supposed better squad.
  11. Nobody asked about your prostate. 😉
  12. Your right. Should have been a pen to them in the first half.
  13. Cantwell on the bench. I'm still intrigued by the 50 game hypothesis. Henriksson not perceived as good enough as Sidnei? Baradji not fully ready?
  14. AFCON Group C Matches play on 23, 27, 30 December 2025 Nigeria Tunisia Uganda Tanzania Next stage fixtures, if successful are on 3, 9, 14 and final on the 18 January. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Africa_Cup_of_Nations#Draw
  15. Following discussions with the match officials, who are satisfied with the playing surface at Ewood Park, tonight’s game against Oxford United will go ahead as planned. Blackburn Rovers wishes to stress that the club shares the frustrations felt by supporters following the abandonment of Saturday’s Championship fixture against Sheffield Wednesday. Following the abandonment of our home fixture against Ipswich Town in September, the club engaged leading drainage specialists to assess and implement measure (1) aimed at improving the pitch’s ability to withstand periods of heavy rainfall. Despite these steps, and the best efforts of the club’s grounds team, torrential rainfall throughout Saturday’s game – as well as the forecast for further rain – ultimately resulted in referee Ruebyn Ricardo calling the match off. Over the past 48 hours, the club has been working closely with the EFL, has again sought external specialist advice and is exploring all available options to minimise the risk of any further fixture disruption. (2) The club is treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and is committed to doing everything in its power to address the current concerns regarding the pitch, while balancing time constraints, the congested fixture schedule and the significant financial implications involved. (3) However, we also recognise that weather conditions can present challenges that are, at times, beyond the club’s control. (4) The club is currently awaiting guidance from the EFL Board regarding the Sheffield Wednesday fixture and will provide a further update to supporters once confirmed. We thank all fans for their patience, understanding and continued support, and look forward to seeing everyone back at Ewood Park for tonight’s match. 1 We asked some people at City and United for advice. 2 We already know what to do –Waggot’s report already told us but we won’t pay 3 We’ll do everything so long as it is cheap –if we have to cough up significant funds for pitch improvement then nout for transfers etc 4 Not our fault, we are victims of the weather

  17. Can only think it will be on. Not going to call it off at 5pm surely?
  18. Metaphor for the club under the Rao's? Crossed my mind that some wag might find it fun to stuff something up that pipe.
  19. Been falling in for 15 years......
  20. Who is still above the 10k? Pickering, Pears, Cantwell, Carter?
