  1. Cantwell been good but for someone with pretensions of a top player he was poor on 2 attacking occasions. 1 the shot with the right foot was weak and would never have troubled their keeper 2 when he was through there was an obvoius chip on over the keeper-instead he played a poor ball to Henriksson who could do little with it
  2. You’ve probably covered it before but Xmas in the past was busy: 25 December 1959 Rovers v Blackpool 1-0 26 December 1959 Blackpool v Rovers 1-0 24 December 1960 Blackpool v Rovers 2-0 27 December 1960 Rovers v Blackpool 2-0
  3. 1 Remind us again. Didn't it just result in a staggeringly blithe video of said stooges. 2 Being done
  4. All opinions 😉 McLauglin -doesn't score, not great header. Miller -tough but reckless but good leader. Gud -B+ sniffer in box (and needed) Albiousu -A- obviously been great but nobody is perfect
  5. Did you say what those alternatives are? Or your alternative is?
  6. Some generous marks there imo.
  7. While we're on corners (sort of) seems that keeping 1 man up front (necessitating 2 defenders to mark) has gone.
  8. Keep your fingers crossed.
  9. Frankly, it should have been 1-1 (Miller header and Taylor header). Neither keeper much to do otherwise -2 errors for our 2 goals. Incidentally, can you imagine the flak here if Pears had done what Crocombe did for our first goal? 😉 Classic Rovers though. Small crowd and all sorts of protest stuff in the week prior – Rovers win. As has been said, keep up the protests, they are good for results 🙂
  10. FOI gone in yet for match attendance?
  11. Presumably when nobody comes in January, hierarchy just talks of Litherland, Atcheson and Pratt as the new project.
  12. They did 🙂 2 good defensive headers from Atcheson late on.
  13. Cantwell should be MoM. Ref been good - bit soft givng a free kick to Todd in the 1st half which led to our goal -curiously no mention here today 😉
  14. Had a go at Cantwell on another thread (not footballing reasons). Played well here today. Millwall poor, we've done the business so far.
  15. Look, enough from me. But just to say: Big Mak, I don't think is a great buy and will probably be moved on (not his fault he was bought) but that is irrelevant to this pathetic training ground stuff. Cantwell, in a team like ours he looks like Messi and is useful to us. But this pathetic stuff on the training ground is not endearing; he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is; previous clubs have thought he was a knob; he has no pace or power, no right foot and doesn't score enough. But a legend in his own mind. And nowhere near as good as Adam Wharton. But as I say, in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. 🙂
  16. Sadly, they do and life is becoming impossible to some extent without. Have you ever tried to prise a phone off a teenager? Like cutting off a limb. 😉 Go down the street, into a restaurant, on a train and they are full of zombies looking down. 🙂
  17. Fed up of waiting in line for people who can't get stuff up on their phones. Edit just realised that might sound like having a go at you Rev -definitley not. Just resent having to use smart phones for everything. But not a battle I'm going to win.
  18. Yep, immature. And how anyone can snigger with that hair... 🙂 We all know of Mak's (in)ability -what does childish sniggering achieve? He is a fellow professional (yes I know you can argue that he isn't up to it) but shouldn't a club captain encourage? I know plenty of past hard men who if they were Mak would have just decked Cantwell.
  19. Not particularly defending big Mak one way or the other but Cantwell 7 goals, Gueye 8. Frankly, Cantwell is a dick for sniggering and needs to think about his own efforts on goal. Eg that pathetic attempted chip.
  20. Yep, zombie club –lumbering along, alive but not alive.
  21. Yes agreed here. Long thought some sort of simple leaflet/social media page spelling out ‘facts’ and dispelling myths –directly countering the apologist narrative. Keep it simple, cheap. I’m sure plenty here have the expertise for this –where to distribute ect. Eg. Top 10 myths Myth: Nobody would buy us. Fact: simple debunk Myth: Not our fault regarding weather Fact: Waggot presented plans but board rejected etc etc Or Did you know? Maybe 10 of these OR Top 10 facts about the Raos Top 10 facts about transfers Top 10 facts about Ismael’s record
  22. I'm interested in this idea of the Rao's in the distance (who may or may not know/care about what is going on) and those (shady?) figures on the ground who perhaps control things. The rapidity and vehemence of the responses to the coalition's letter make me think of 2 things: First, there must be figures around (not the Raos) who have much to lose and have no hesitation in resorting to smears, threats and in the past violence to fans. Second, that the responses to the coalition on social media are working for the club and probably written/dictated by the club (again not necessarily the Raos). All imo and just thinking out loud of course 🙂
  23. I'm probably missing something but I can only see it signed 'Actual Blackburn Rovers Fans'. Nothing official, traceable, no real names.
