  1. Press, politicians, bishops all had a go when the Raos first came and started the damage. Defeaning silence from the owners. Perhaps, there may be a new round of such voices. I keep getting an image in my head of The Black Knight as the last fan going to Rovers shouts "just support the team" only to find that there is no team on the pitch. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. How many 65+ year old supporters do we have? ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. BTW For all you keen referee spotters, good job no VAR in the chumpionship -Tavares would have a red for petulance. ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. Who is leaving in January? Who is leaving in the summer?
  5. He costs too much and criticised RG and VI for getting rid of JE.
  6. Any team worth their salt has 2 centre halves capable of dealing with a corner.
  7. Has VI held up his list yet?
  8. A few random points. Of course Pears and Ribeiro made a mistake for that corner. But tbf it's not always easy to see through all the bodies who it hits last. Still plenty of time to deal with the corner and we don't. Neither of our 'big' centre halves jump much. Baath is better than either McLoughlin and Miller for winning headers. He would have prevented that goal from the corner. Pears before the corner affair made 2 good saves to deny a goal plus an excellent save from a really good shot in the first half which was moving rapidly and in the air. Riberiro save on the line. You simply know that De Neve is not good at defending. Why not play Pickering? (I think we know the answer to that.) Longing for workmanlike Hedges tells you where we are. On a postive note (grasping) Baradji does look a player to me. Time will tell. On another positive(ish) note I think we will just stay up. Cantwell clearly is a good footballer but rarely scores. How anyone can have a go at Ohashi is beyond me -works his bollocks off, top scorer last season. And yes he misses but that is a sign of where the club is. Seems there are already a few around willing to make Pears a scapegoat.
  9. Said at the start of the season that we will finish in bottom third despite a worse team and even worse (!) hierarchy. Sadly, if that is the case RG et al will perceive the new 'alignment' as a project in motion and justified. Plus some commentators on here will be at it too -transition, bedding in, kick on next season - we know the playbook.
  10. And his wages are too high.
  11. Oh well. Apparently, if it wasn't for a bit of the rain and the fact that every referee hates us and is conspiring against us, we'd be near the top of the league and we're clearly in a false position. That's what the club hierarchy and some on this board have said anyway. And Pears (despite 3 good saves today). Miller poor on corner.
  12. Just match centre? Ah, yep ok got it.
  13. No watch live option now just 'match centre'. Refund?
  14. Nobody watching, nobody to make those nasty comments ๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. I've added to my orginal post. I was trying (badly I think) to show that this site has been going for over 25 years or so (and more in different incarnation) and so the stuff from Snyder above is pathetic.
  16. Was Lee Grooby just AI? ๐Ÿ˜‰ The Synder post really is drivel.
  17. Running scared (I don't mean you or the site just to be clear) ๐Ÿ™‚
  18. Indeed. Like every PR statement from the club?
  19. Who said that? I just thought it was just an interesting proposition and it will be fun to see if it plays out or not.
  20. TBF, experience of 15 years can do that to a person. But footy is footy so who knows what will happen.
  21. Yep, that pesky weather, although embarrassing to Heads of, created a nice scapegoat for January.
  22. Cantwell -46 league games and 3 in cup. Conspiracy alive ๐Ÿ™‚ 5 home games until the end of January.
  23. 5 home games over the next 6 weeks or so. Let's hope that the 'freak' weather which is special to Blackburn Rovers according to the hierarchy doesn't cause any more abandoned games.
