  1. It was a corner imo. But refs after acouple of tussels in the corner usually just give a goalkick just to stop the aggro. Not saying it is right. And so, how is it that from right in their corner we concede? Perhaps more of a pressing issue.
  2. For the record, I would have given a pen and thought so in the ground despite the 4 criteria but not as clear cut as many mention. As to bias against Rovers -well...like your posts Ghost but think you are paranoid here (but then there will be shedloads of fans at other clubs who think the same -so the refs must be biased against everybody.?๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. You would but others on here? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Nice to see we finally got round to DOGSO rather than 'last man' which is mentioned nowhere in the rules. (I knew the answer to my question Kidder.) ๐Ÿ˜‰ Nice to see Miller get away with a clear yellow early on.
  4. Can anyone tell me which rule talks about red cards and last man?
  5. Home form. All games = 9 games, 7 losses, 1 win, 1 draw (includes 1 cup game). League = 8 games, 6 losses, 1 win, 1 draw = 4 points out of 24.
  6. Intriguing. I thought lower leagues and amateur football was struggling to get refs due to mindless violence and aggro which is just not worth it.
  7. Thanks for the reply arbitro. Just on the point above, you hear that a lot (and I'm not necessarily disagreeing). But wasn't that an issue because too many mistake were being made? So, handballs missed, offsides incorrect and so on. Thus VAR introduced. Now of course, VAR is 'ruining the game' and why can't we go back to letting referees referee? ๐Ÿ™‚ So it would seem, whatever we do, chunnering up and down the land will occur. ๐Ÿ™‚
  8. Keira Walsh captaining the England team.
  9. Respect your opinion on all such matters but disagree. (Not that it matters now anyway -plus we had plenty of chance to set up and defend it.) In the box, barge in the back, penalty -most certainly in the prem. Agree, that in the Championship you generally have to kill someone first. Also, reverse it. So, defender running towards his own goal line, often trying to shepherd the ball out for a goalkick, forward touches defender slightly from behind, never mind barges him in the back, ref/lino gives free kick all day long. Such an easy decision for the lino to give in this instance. Hedges doesn't touch the ball until after the shove -I could understand if he is making a 'brusque' tackle with his feet - he isn't -he is running towards his own goal, shoves attacker more in the back than shoulder and then collects the ball. Attacker falls over and says thanks very much. Anyway, all done and dusted. All about opinions. Perhaps more interesting/galling is the victim mentality that is emerging and being offered as an excuse, along with the home crowd deficiency narrative. As an aside, it would be interesting to know if you have any solutions to the refereeing โ€˜crisisโ€™ that is regularly cited by many fans in social media, on the terraces and by football pundits.
  10. I thought we knew. Too expensive and need to sell. Tainted by team Eustace. Manager get bonus for appearances of new recruits?
  11. Perhaps tangentially but on tinpot clubs v โ€˜pedigreeโ€™ clubs. Iโ€™m sure many on here have played sport of all kinds at school/local league level. And Iโ€™ve seen (from both sides) when a โ€˜pedigreeโ€™ club plays โ€˜newcomerโ€™/โ€™tinpotโ€™ outfilt. So in cricket, the pedigree club playing against a โ€˜tinpot clubโ€™ away laughs at the crap pitch, the crap pads, the crap tea, the crap scoreboard (if there is one), the crap pavilion (no showers etc). But then the โ€˜tinpotโ€™ team shows great togetherness on the pitch and roundly defeats the complacency of the โ€˜pedigreeโ€™ club. Or another metaphor springs to mind (sorry, pinot). Rovers are like all those poor post 1st World War 1 officers who canโ€™t get a job but go round with a certain front retaining that aristocratic air but any discerning viewer can see the threadbare uniform, the whiff of decline and lack of capital. Good luck tomorrow lads -I'll be watching. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  12. Pasha and Gestede are fu**ing me so now I am fu**ing you.
  13. Misery? Reality. And I agree, it could be tough but there is nothing to fear as such. As for the players escaping this misery - sounds like another post from backroom staff blaming home fans for dire performances. Edit. VI in charge for just over 9 months - played 15 home games and won 3. That might have something to do with misery and poor attendances.
  14. Remember stuff about 'tinpot Bournemouth' or Brentford โ€“no history yada yada, we are founder members of the league etc etc. Nostalgia thread alive and kicking (enjoyable it is too). But this is where we are. Looking at others who have ambition, upward momentum, backing and functional systems in place.
  15. Some on here would say we never touched him ๐Ÿ˜‰
  16. How dare dirty Derby and a ref obviously totally biased and on the take and with the snake of a manager who stole all our players not let us walk all over them, disgusitng from deby county yesterday. Truly awful. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. Miller should certainly have been sent off in a prevoius game for a 2 footed lunge.
  18. Not disagreeing Tyrone but perhaps not as career threatening as an old time reducer that you could get away with in the past?
  19. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You know the answer. It's the official club line.
  20. Indeed -banter is ok. But some morons believe certain narratives peddled by serial liars.
