A club that's a laughing stock?

A few things after the first couple of games. Those not apparatchiks always knew Sam wasn’t good enough (and costly) despite always giving his best. Gueye is clearly an improvement. Let’s hope he can maintain it over a long hard season. Yuki looks class. Attitude, ability and toughness all seem good. Got that scorer instinct. Let’s hope it continues. Travis is brain dead. Needless shithousery and cards. But hopefully will still do a good/necessary job in there with Trondstat. Pears is not the extreme useless keeper as often painted but we do need to find a more reliable replacement. We look like we can concede from any decent cross or set piece. If I were playing us, I wouldn’t try anything too technical –just get it out wide and get in good crosses. We’re not the tallest. JRC –not at the races yet. Fitness generally?

Good luck Sammie. Deserve your move and hope all goes well. Will Dolan get more than 10 league goals this season? Perhaps it may be a case of rather than any one person stepping up to get 25 or so, a few players combined will do the business?

Despite the shenanigans off field we all know about, minimal spend, an opposition who will struggle at this level and looking like we could concede from any decent cross into our box, a keeper who could be better, you’ve got to enjoy a night like that. Trav silky dribbling in one moment (!) and nouty petulance in another, a striker whose first touch isn’t a tackle and to top it all a sublime chip. Early days. Transfer window not closed (loans?), court case, injuries, long hard season. So, probably imo, not relegation (not the greatest of leagues?) but not top half. 10 games in let’s see. Xmas let’s see.
