Sounds familiar - We had our own master of cock ups who eventually got dropped too ?. He's definitely an upgrade in my opinion and I do prefer seeing a bigger physical presence between the sticks. I do think he will come in as a replacement for Leutweiller though, probably with a view to buy and JW will be sent elsewhere. I fully expect an experienced freebie come in or a long term loan.

Walton is a better keeper with a better record. Raya frustrated the hell out of me. His basic kicking, flapping about and rash decision making put us under so much pressure. I wish him well but I'm glad he's not our problem anymore and my heart will benefit from it.

Last 20 mins, since the subs and us pressing higher up the pitch (which is by far our best tactic) we have been much better. Mowbray needs to take note and realise we aren't good enough to sit back and invite pressure but we have the mobility and fitness up top to cause massive problems. That has been our strength since relegation and my main gripe with TM.

1st name on the team sheet this season (for me) is Rothwell. He just buzzes around the field and makes things happen.

For me, it should be best 11 in every game, let them gel and hit the ground running from the 1st game of the season. The rest then need to grasp their opportunity off the bench or in the league cup. If Mowbray seriously thinks that Bennett is his best right back or Bell is ever going to be anything other than a liability, he's sadly mistaken and we'll be off the pace 5 games in.

It drives me mad how he chooses the mundane safe option or persists with two terrible full backs.

Similar to Bentley, I think he just doesn't have the desire and love for the game anymore.

I think they let him go because he was dogshit at organising a defence, flapped like mad when crosses were across his six yard box and his distribution was pitiful. All of this was sugar-coated with his amazing reflex saves. He didn't make any progress with his failings in my opinion and he wasn't good enough if we are serious about getting out of this league any time soon.

I honestly think they will fold or be expelled from the league. I can't see another outcome.

My thoughts exactly. It's the quality of the player that matters. We got Berg back on an initial loan and alongside Berkovic, they were key to promotion.

We are owned by billionaires. We see past that due to their wastefulness. Damn right they should be investing in players, rather than agents and pay offs.
