Unbelievably poor again. Willing to give JDT a chance but he's proving even more stubborn than Mowbray with these garbage tactics. We're just gifting goals to incredibly poor sides and we have no attacking threat whatsoever. If we're still putting these kind of performances in by the WC I'd be seriously considering a new manager.

Our summer recruitment is looking worse and worse with every game. Especially away from home there seems to be no plan, no ability to attack and we just gift goals away for fun. We've got away with it at home so far, but if those results start turning this team will plummet down the table.

At least Szmodics has offered some goals and assists already. I'm yet to see Hirst contribute anything other than that shoddy attempt at a penalty last week.

How many League Two tier performances do we need to put in away from home before we actually change tactics? Christ I don't think even TM persisted after this many abject failures.

The difference is Arsenal then went and threw many tens of millions at players who can play what he wanted, we're rummaging around in the bins at the back of the Championship.

Yep, I keep seeing that we want to press but if you want to make us roll over all you have to do is let us have the ball. We create way more chances for the opposition than for ourselves messing around at the back. I dread to think of the carnage at the dingles if Kompany does his homework.

Hirst shouldn't even be on the pitch, let slone taking pens. If he was our main target this summer I am seriously concerned about our recruitment policy.

Dack won't play unless JDT is desperate, there's surely no way he's here beyond January. Still can't work out what Hirst brings - I'd rather get Gallagher up top personally.

Sure, but when we lose, we get battered, and that's about 50% of games so far. There's only so long you can keep up performances like this before you plummet down the table. Also if you factor in 3 of those wins being a new manager bounce and it looks grim.

There's a few that don't seem to get a look in even if we're awful - A Wharton, Dack, Markanday and to a lesser extent Phillips jump to mind immediately.

Which is mental. Watch him join TM at Sunderland or something and fire them into the play-offs whilst we flounder in midtable. 5 times the player Szmodics is.

I didn't see the last game but I was at Luton and we were just as vulnerable with 3 CB's. It's got much more to do with the kamikaze football than the formation I think. It's like we don't work on anything else sometimes.

We look vulnerable any game where the opposition press, because we mess around with the ball in our own box.

I feel like we should just copy paste this at the start of every game at this point.

Honestly, I'm starting to worry about this brand of football we're playing. When it works it works but any half decent team seems to be able to pick it apart with ease. We concede for fun in most of the games we lose. Hope I'm wrong and he learns from the defeats but I will be amazed if JDT is here at the end of the season if it continues like this.

Now we have Hyam I'd rather we left VDB honestly. Those squad places in 4th, 5th choice are exactly where the younger lads like Carter and Phillips should be and getting loans in to stunt their development is something we need to stop doing. Ayala, Hyam, Wharton, Carter and Phillips should be fine for CB. Let's get some creativity or finishing with that loan instead.

This is looking increasingly worrying. Even in the games we won we created next to nothing and there has been no sign of anyone coming in. As most expected, with the players we lost last season we will be lucky to compete at a midtable level.

I don't know why everyone is surprised. We have at best a midtable squad, we were never going to be keeping up the results we had. Hopefully this gives a better idea of our weaknesses and allows us to sign a fee more people.

Glad to see we're doing a good bit of business, and the sticker book announcement leads me to hope that we've done the vast majority of business and we're just putting the finishing touches, moving them etc. JPvH would be massive but I don't see it, the guy was far too good for this league last year and Brighton would be mental to let him go.

You know full well if Gally went to Boro they're going to find a load of success from a Giles/Gally combination that literally every man that isn't called Tony Mowbray could have set up by not playing them both out of position constantly.

This and the guys coming through now would say thst it has been worth the investment. The problem is that the club is so unbelievably inept at handling contracts that we never cash in on them when we should have, and therefore haven't pulled in nearly the amount we could have for reinvestment. It's the same with BBD this summer - if he's not signing a new contract we have to get rid this summer because we can't afford another high value asset to disappear on a free.
