To be fair for as many happy clapping posts there are a lot of posts today highlighting how few shots we have ever had under Ismael regardless of squad quality. Not unanimous sure but I've seen worse.

I'm sorry but considering how Ipswich played the fact our setup resulted in 0 shots on target is nothing short of pathetic. Yeah he's had a bad hand but he hasn't a clue tactically. Certainly can't be much worse under someone else.

You can get that armband off of Cantwell as well, what an appallingly bad captain he's been.

Cashin and McLoughlin combined looks like it's going to be a disaster. Absolutrly all over the place with no communication at all.

Toth spilled, but Cashin stood still and let the Ipswich player tap in, and McLoughlin wasn't even looking in the direction of the ball at any point. As with everything it's often a combination of poor decisions rather than one specific one.

Not only would he walk into this team, I'm pretty sure he'd be the obvious choice for captaincy too. Let that sink in.

We're doing our usual, pass it around the back, give it away, create nothing, give away free goals. Some of the worst football I've seen from any team, let alone Rovers.

By the same token, with the right formation I don't see why Tronstad, Cantwell, Baradji wouldn't be a solid midfield if they put the effort in. Granted this stupid 3-5-2 is getting absolutely rinsed down the wings at the moment.

I can only assume they weren't expecting long throws reaching the first man there because that should have been 3-0.

I think he has some ability but god he's lazy.

As the Ipswich game is showing, it doesn't matter if we spend or not because they recruitment team because they haven't the slightest clue what to look for in a player. Until they're gone it makes no difference.

Get Ismael gone at half time. This is the worst defending I've seen all season and that's saying a lot.

Not convinced on this signing again, especially Val saying he wad a natural fit in the summer when we don't even play the same way. Hope to be proven wrong, but yet again for me we've gone for a punt on a young unproven player instead of anyone with the experience for the league we're in. We'll have a better idea of him this time next week at least.
