I guarantee they just drop that £10k number and we struggle in League One as well. This has downsizing costs all over it. -

Also, the genius who saw that purple patch and then decided to get rid of the entire team that contributed to it needs to go with him.- 2699 replies

As I've said multiple times, this squad would struggle in League One, let alone the Championship. The manager and at least 2/3rds of the starting squad just aren't up to the level required. We'll be all but down by Christmas. -

I really don't get your point? The ball went to Gudjohnsen's foot in a great position to shoot. He misses the ball completely, Swansea counter and score. What an utterly bizarre thing to fixate on. -

That is one of the worst decisions I've seen in ages. What a cheat. -

Considering multiple posters and a text from my Swansea supporting mate back me I'm pretty confident in my assessment. -

Gudjohnsen is dreadful, that all came from him completely missing the ball. -

He's really not that fast, or at least hasn't been in any of the games we've seen. Much better so far this half though. -

Mori off at half time. Worrying considering they were so desperate to have him in the summer. -

I said he was worse than Yuki on Saturday and he's backed it up with another shocker today. It doesn't help him that our midfield is so poor and doesn't really help mind. -

We literally only attack through Alebiosu, we have no other way of getting past teams and even then Cantwell aside we've no one who can do anything in the box either. -

There were go, absolutely dreadful. We have literally one pattern of attacking play and can't defend at all. -

Some of the worst goalkeeping I've ever seen but we take it. Our right back is our only creative outlet at the moment. -

I don't know the cause but in both attack and defence every single one of our players is so slow to react to anything. -

The board and the players don't put much effort in so why should the fans spend a small fortune to put up with it? Early days but we look really, really poor again. -

To be fair to Yuki I felt that he did more as the lone striker than Gudjohnsen on Saturday. He brought it down a few times but the gap between him and the midfield was enormous and he got no help. Not to say he was great, but as far as Rovers players in that game, for me he was one of the least bad. Hopefully the second, because he was one of the only ones trying to put a shift in at the weekend. -

Seeing a lot say Gudjohnsen but whilst Yuki didn't do much yesterday he somehow did considerably less. Even Gueye was more impactful. Admittedly I didn't see the last two games but absolutely nothing I saw of him made me think "yeah, he should be starting". -

Back home, absolutely gutted that my partner's first experience of an away game was so utterly depressing. The fact that the tickets weren't there to collect until 2.20pm should have been the omen I suppose. Let's be clear, there were two major issues in this game and I think both bode badly in the long term. The first is the tactics. Charlton were direct and every time they had a set piece they looked to capitalise. Us? We tapped it from keeper to defence, passed sideways a bit like crabs and then either lost the ball, passed it back to Toth or hoofed it up to Yuki, who to be fair to him won it a few times only to have zero support. If we got a set piece, we either blasted it over or just passed it back to Toth and started again. This means we create nothing of note and also invite pressure - the subs and formation changes actually made us worse. The second is the lack of fight and passion. Toth, Wharton and Miller (and Alebiosu before he went off) put themselves about at least up until the first goal, but the rest of them? Not an ounce of effort. The worst offender by far was Tavares, who actually contributed negatively to the team. This team doesn't have the fight needed for a relegation battle, but that's exactly where we will be. We will pick up some results here or there as everyone does but we have no depth at all. Relegation inbound. -
Does he have pace? He looked like he was running through treacle today and offered nothing when he came on.

Rudy said this squad is stronger than last season, so by his logic we should be in the play-off spots, not getting completely and utterly destroyed by Charlton. -

As someone who is here this is anyone but Toth, we keep giving them shot after shot. I don't think we've had a single one yet.
