I think we were spoiled by Mulgrew a bit. Nice to see Yuki actually getting some free kicks tonight, makes a nice change.

Saw it coming the second they lined it up.

This may be the first game I've seen this season where we've been the better team in the air. Usually we can't win a header to save our lives.

Worse if anything. Unfortunately despite the fact we've started alright there just isn't a big enough crowd to make any kind of atmosphere. Absolutely no chance this crowd is close to 10k.

Might be the emptiest I've ever seen Ewood. Nailed on loss and that will be the excuse.

And of the others Ohashi is literally the only one who hasn't been speculated to be the next forced out the door.

Another honking matchday squad but what can you expect, a summer of neglect was always leading to this and the "injury crisis" excuses will be in full swing in a week or two. Not looking forward to the next couple of weeks at all.

Preston aside, I don't think we've actually been that good away from home. Better, but the squad is just dreadful.

Away wins are fine, but yet another home game where we do literally nothing, and his subs took all of the little momentum we actually had. Get him binned.

Give over. the crowd doesn't stop them from being able to do the basics.

Every single interview they should be holding up the comments that this squad is better than last season's and asking them to justify it.

No strategic thinking is a common trait at the club and has been for a long time.

"Why does nobody attend home games?" they keep asking...

It really says a lot about our squad when we're 70 minutes in and still not a sniff of a change.

Alebiosu has the ability to get a cross out of any situation, it's just a shame there's never anyone to do anything with them.

Based on his cameo the other day he's nowhere near the fitness levels needed to be that.

The only physical players we have are at the back. Our midfield and forwards are lighter than they have ever been.

Rhodes would never have missed that though!

We've been doing it all season and it's been stupid every time. Friday was the first time in ages I've been cautiously optimistic and we've immediately reverted to type. Horrendous so far.

A little more optimistic than I was last week following a strong performance on Friday, but we often have a habit of following these kinds of performances up with damp squibs. This is an opportunity to really show some intent, but not losing at home would be progress. Rovers 1-1 QPR

Cannot complain about the performance from around the 35th minute tbf. Despite the depleted squad, we were by far the better team bar a few dodgy moments at the back. Expected nothing but well worth the 3 points.

The alternative was Gueye - I get it.
