You know the score, another few weeks of shocking results and then once we're just far away enough for it not to matter, we'll string some results together against teams we shouldn't. Regardless of how poor I think Ismael will turn out to be, Rovers have been mentally pathetic and predictable in this regard for at least a decade now, and until the owners change this will forever be the same. Can't expect the players to give a damn when the owners actively sabotage us on a seasonal basis and won't give them any future guarantees.

Eustace was taking over a team in freefall, Ismaeel is taking over a team that was (albeit falsely) in the top 6, that had won 2 of 3 under the caretaker. This is our "easy" run of fixtures, with some much more difficult games to come, and we're putting in some of the worst performances we have all season. The players look lost and we're just lucky we have points on the board, because I'll be very surprised if we don't proceed to get battered for the rest of the season.

You could print money betting against Rovers every time we play an awful team out of form. Especially promoted teams away - we can't have beaten one in a few years I'd have thought.

Because Rovers under Venkys are mentally weak. If we keep a clean sheet we get points, but we generally fall to pieces if the opposition get in there first.

Absolutely no surprise that once the pure energy had run off from Eustace leaving that the guy in charge of putting cones out wouldn't be able to cope as a tactician. Waggott and Gestede should have had someone in nearly a week ago.

Yet again Rovers throwing the towel in against a team who haven't been able to compete in weeks. Forget the playoffs, the board have completely blown it yet again.

Who could have guessed that reverting to our team that was playing awful in January are struggling again against some of the worst sides in the league.

Southgate has underperformed in every job he's had (yes, including England). That said, for 14 games as just a motivator, could work. Wouldn't have him beyond the season though.

I'm really hoping there is someone out of left field being considered because no other clubs when 5th in the Championship would even look at the applications of pretty much every one of the rumoured candidates.
