About as expected. As much as the keepers aren't amazing, it's not like we protect them in any way. People expecting Pears to make any difference to the first team are in for a shock.

Just look at the goals yesterday. The first was a set piece and there must have been 6 or 7 players against their 1 by the time they got the ball down and the all just crabbed sideways and let him shoot, some of the worst defending I have ever seen. The second I think the keeper should have done better with personally, but the defence still exposed him similarly. There is something seriously wrong with our defensive setup and I'm not sure any signings in any position will change a thing if we refuse to adapt anything.

All the Cov fans said he struggled physically. If that's right and we ship out Travis and Garrett to accommodate him there you can forget about solving our defensive issues. For me Garrett and Leonard should be staying unless we get in at least two specialists in their respective positions. Both have shown more than others in the squad in their respective positions and if all we're going to do is get youth players on loan anyway we may as well try and develop what we have. Not to mention we've been stretched all season as it is.
