People keep telling me he's been playing well but he's been the worst player n the pitch every game this month for me.

Where'd be the fun in that? It's all part of the panto really.

A win today would be huge, but an away game at a side in good form is going to be a tough ask and we could really do with more bodies to help deal with the fixture list. 1-1 for me, but if we could pull a couple of points back on the teams above us after the draw yesterday it would be welcome.

So were Hull, so were Plymouth. We lost to both. For years we've been absolutely toothless against awful sides.

For me this is a must win game if we're serious about getting out of this league. As others have said, Portsmouth have horrendous away form, which means in all expectation is we're going to make a dog's dinner of it. Let's hope we get the 3 points!

Really? I think Ange is a bit of a tool personally. He's got that Russell Martin level of arrogance that his playstyle is the only way of playing no matter what.

It's not even that it wasn't a foul, but he didn't give the one the other way that was identical. Give both, or give neither.

Knew the second he gave that Son free kick they'd rag a goal. The ref really has come out swinging this half.

Buckley was comfortably the worst player on the pitch in that first half.

Solid result, classic 1-0 to the Rovers. Second half much better from an attacking standpoint but we are desperate for a finisher or two in the team.

Yet it's not him who gets subbed off. Forshaw presumably starts against Portsmouth because no way should Buckley be on that pitch in midweek.

He's levels above Gueye for me. Gueye is unbelievably clumsy and just causes chaos. Occasionally he gets away with it and the chaos helps us.

Incredibly surprised we've not made a sub yet.

Well, if Eustace wanted a game to show why we desperately need forwards they're doing a good job of helping him.

The biggest problem is they have the uncanny ability to miss the target from pretty much any opportunity, even when it's easier to score. It'd be more palatable if it was the opposition keepers keeping us out. WEIMANN!

I agree. At the very least stand your ground a bit and stumble down to sell the force of the push a bit.

Whilst I agree the bigger issue this game has been that I've lost count of the amount of times he's hit the least effective passing option with no pressure on him whatsoever.

He was great until he got challeneged for his position and for me he just never stepped up to that mark. Edit: and AGAIN he kicks it out

Lots of passing, get into a good position, then Buckley lazily kicks it out again. Time to go now.

I don't care who comes on but for me I agree, I'd be telling Buckley he has 10 minutes to show why he should be here and if we see nothing he's off and we'll try and find a new club for him. Everything through the centre is coming through him, he's lightweight and lazy.

5 offsides but 0 shots on target (again)! Sometimes you really have to wonder why we keep doing this to ourselves 😅

Unsurprising, Szmodics aside our entire attacking side of the game has been lacking for close to two years now. It's like we never train past the half way line sometimes.

Which works if you overachieve, but fans get quickly bored of it if you're bang average, and even if you're doing better sometimes. Just ask Big Sam.
