Classic Mowbray season though isn't it? Season derails completely and the second we can no longer actually achieve anything we start smashing teams so people forget about the dross and get their hopes up over the summer...

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard 2 CB's booked already. How much is down to them, and how much is down to the lack of cover provided by Tony's terrible tactics?

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Let's be honest if we scraped into the play-offs we would be hammered by every other team in the mix anyway.

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Not a single update on the Rovers twitter since Stoke scored. I'm not watching but I assume that speaks for itself?

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard So he doesn't train them in specific fundamentals (as he has admitted), nor does he seem to motivate them... what exactly does Tony do in training?
-
v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Almost as if he's a left back who keeps getting thrown onto the right wing.

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard It's more and more clear that it was the win streak that was the "outlier" for our results, rather than the awful form surrounding it. Without that period we'd have just lost a relegation six-pointer. And yet some will still defend the dinosaur.

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Don't worry, you won't have to after we lose the next 4 as well.

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard "Why does nobody turn up at Ewood anymore?" Have you seen this guff?
-
v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Getting absolutely pumped by the worst team in the league. Hand Tony is p45 and let him find his own way home.

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Considering game management has been an issue for a long time now it absolutely comes down on the manager as much as the players.
-
v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard We are sitting soooo deep. Does Tony even know the basics of setting a team up?
-
v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Kaminski and van Hecke (perhaps Wharton too) seem to be the only players doing anything,,, though I guess that argument could be used for all of 2022.

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard A step up from Rovers' terrible to watch and lack any quality tbf

v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Hopefully the lads tell Tony where to shove his ideas again at half time. Utterly clueless.
-
v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard So let me get this straight... Gally is taken out by last man, and nothing. Edun booked and Breo disallowed for lightly touching the opposition. The officials in this league boggle the mind.
-
v Peterborough Utd (a) - 15/4/22RTM08 replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Who would have thought that continuing with the same tactics that haven't worked all of 2022 would result in the exact same level of dire performance?

Premier League season 21/22RTM08 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Wow

I think the one think for me with Gareth that I absolutely despise about Tony is you know full well that win or lose as a fan he would be pushing that team, urging them to finish the job, and would be going through the same emotions we are as the game goes on. I can't remember the last time Tony looked like he remotely gave a damn, from his interviews to his touchline demeanour, and discounting the constant collapses is the number one thing I have to criticise him for.

v Coventry City (a) - 2/4/22RTM08 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard For the love of god get rid of this absolute clown

v Reading (a) - 20/3/22RTM08 replied to joey_big_nose's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard How many times do I have to see this? We almost never respond directly to going behind. It's pathetic.
-
v Reading (a) - 20/3/22RTM08 replied to joey_big_nose's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Forget about top 6. Priority has to be getting rid of this dinosaur and trying to build for next season. Getting outclassed by Paul Ince is arguably worse than losing 7-0
-
v Reading (a) - 20/3/22RTM08 replied to joey_big_nose's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Imagine spending £5m and giving an extended contract to THAT.

It's also important to point out that these runs are constsntly in the same patterns each season. This isn't just bad runs, it's bad runs after the new year. When you factor in the same issues at Cov and Boro, that points to a chronic inability to change and by extension an inability to succeed.

v Bristol City (h) - 12/3/22RTM08 replied to roversfan99's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard I'd be getting rid of Tony after this game. He had a chance of turning it around going into a favourable set of fixtures and we still look awful. We can't afford to just throw this season away.
