  2. Surely you can't use the term Dingle in this day and age.
  3. WIndies needing 148 with 3 wickets remaining. Should be a good first win.
  4. The manager and make up of the club is the issue attracting quality loanees. If Gerrard or someone of his ilk/generation were manager, we'd attract a higher calibre. What are the club's ambitions? That's key IMO
  5. I'd take Joe Hart if the money was right and he was in the right frame of mind and sufficiently motivated. He's only 32, is an international and in a similar situation to when we took Friedel and Robinson. He'd be able to aid the development of Fisher, Hilton and the other academy goalkeepers.
  6. You're right good spot. Ah well, I certainly hope Wigan stay up and ensure that dodgy bugger loses his bet.
  7. I've no idea regarding Coyle. We all know how the club ought to be run and probably most agree and accept that the owners would wish to be part of the process in the recruitment of key personnel. What irks me is there has been nobody in a position of influence at the club for years who truly cares and knows what makes our supporter base tick.
  8. A bit like if you're looking to sell a car, you don't say it runs like a bag of nails, suspension's a bit dodgy and it's ok if you drive in a straight line but veer to the left or right and you're in bother.
  9. It probably isn't chaddy but it should be, don't you think? It certainly can't be the owners either because they haven't been near the place for 6 years. Who does it then, Agents? Nobody?
  10. Whilst folk are critical of Raya, he'll be Spain's number 1 before too long if the competition is currently in goal for United. De Gea in the £80 million bracket and on £13 million a year!
  11. He probably doesn't but he should be able to put a case together for a decision to be sanctioned by the owners, including a potential list of replacements. The issue is, Mowbray may be achieving, or even overachieving the goals stipulated by the owners, as far as we know. If that's the case, as I suspect it well may be, Mowbray's going nowhere unless he jacks.
  12. 50/50, I think he was 17 or so when he came to Rovers.
  13. I kind of hope Luton beat Rovers, Charlton get something at Leeds and Derby turn Birmingham over. I'd like to see 'big club' relegated, I've no time for them whatsoever.
  14. I'm unsure what you were trying to say there but both Hilton and Fisher are well thought of and both need first team action. Luton would be an ideal debut for either.

  16. I'm sorry EIT, I totally disagree with you regarding Raya. He's dropped one bollock and invariably as it does with keepers, cost a goal, one goal not the season. Despite several top goalscorers, ask a Brentford fan who their player of the season is. Criminal he was let go at all, never mind for £3million.
